My Mysterious Life; Book 1

It's all fun and games until...

It was the day after the girls' second birthday. I was cleaning up all of the streamers and confetti. Anthony was chasing Nevaeh around the house. Nevaeh stopped running, turned around to face him, turned into her wolf form, and said, "Rawr." Anthony chuckled. "Just like daddy." I said as Heaven flew in, Lily behind her. "Heaven, you are very fast!" She said. "I know." She said while flipping her hair behind her shoulder. Brandon walked in. "I went on a walk and there was someone following me I think. I don't exactly know." He said as a tall man in a black outfit walked in. "Who are you?" Lily asked as she grabbed Heaven and lowered down to the floor. The person didn't say anything. He walked up to me. Now we were looking straight at each other. "Who are you?" I asked him. "Who am I? Just someone that found you after all these decades. Your mother was a criminal. Now since she is dead, you will recieve her consequences. He said as he took his mask off. I gasped. It was the man from my visions. The man who had been chasing my mother and I. Before I could run away, he grabbed me and dragged me out the door, Anthony tried to come after me but the man put a force field around us. I couldn't move. He put a spell on me. Heaven was crying. Nevaeh screamed and ran toward the forcefield. "Wonderful! Two of them. That'll work." The guy said as he grabbed Nevaeh.

The man drove us into the sea. Nevaeh and I grew mermaid tails. He drove us to some type of jail and threw us into a cell. I picked up Nevaeh. She squeezed me tight. "My brave little girl!" I said as I remembered the guy let me keep my phone but told me we could use it 15 minutes a day each. I texted Anthony.

Me:
Hey babe. I am sitting in a jail cell with Nevaeh.
Any chance you can save
me anytime soon?

Anthony:
I'm already in the car with Lily, Brandon, and Heaven.
What jail are you at?

Lily:
Cool, I am in a group text. Hey Anthony, can you turn
up the music? Oh! Put on The Death of a Bachelor by
Panic at the Disco, Please.

Me:
Lily, this is kind of an emergency! I am at 'Atlantic City Jail'.

Anthony:
Aw crap. I am a wolf. I can't go underwater!
Neither can Brandon.

Lily:
Relax, dude, I'll use my powers
to make an air bubble that we
can travel in while
we are down there searching for
Veronica and Nevaeh.

Me:
Sounds like a plan! Bye.

I handed my phone to Nevaeh to play on. One of the people in the cell next to me handed me some type of machine with a note. The note said: I have been working on this for five years but it seems that you and your child need it more than me. Simply plug it in to the wall, put some algae from the sides of the jail cell in the bowl at the top, turn the knob, and enjoy!
I said "Thank you." to whoever gave it to us, put it on the bottom bunk bed, and set it up. While Nevaeh was playing on my phone, I scraped some algae off the wall and put it in the bowl at the top. I turned the knob and popcorn came out the bottom. Nevaeh came over to me, put the phone down, and we ate 'Dinner'.
