Chapter 15

My eyes jolted open and I realized that I was no longer on the ground anymore. I was in the back of Alex's car. Matt was in the front seat with his hands over his face. Alex was staring straight at the road emotionless.
Matt turned around to me and I put my hand on his face, caressing his cheek.
he turned back around and we were finally back at Matt's house.
we all went inside but Alex left me and Matt alone. we went upstairs to Matt's room and he sat on his bed while I stood in front of him.
"Matt" I whispered.
"I'm sorry" he said.
"no, don't say sorry. you didn't do anything" I said, sitting next to him.
"I left you alone" he said.
"you wanted me to get away from Thomas so he wouldn't hurt me. I knew your intentions Matt" I reassured him.
"y-your one of us now" he said.
"it feels so strange" I said.
Matt stood up and grabbed my hands.
"we need to get you fed" he said.
he took me outside and we ran into the woods. running this fast felt amazing. it felt like my whole world was just disappearing around me. we stopped and Matt pointed to a deer.
I sighed and lunged at it and bit it.
"and why is this better than biting humans?" I asked.
Matt laughed and we ran back to his house.
"I actually might like this new y/n" Matt smirked.
"I might like the new me too" I smirked.
he picked me up and carried me inside, placing me on his bed.
he ripped off my shirt and then his. he slipped off his pants and then mine. I pulled him onto me and then rolled over so I was in control.
I bit into his neck forcefully and didn't want to let go. his blood tasted so good.
I finally pulled away and he smiled.
"taste good?" he asked.
I smiled and then bit into the other side of his neck. I left kisses all down his stomach but then he flipped me over so he was on top.
"I love you" he said.
"I love you" I replied.
he placed his hands on my waist and then suddenly any pain that I felt, went away. it was like I was taken from earth and placed in this alternative universe. he made me feel this way all the time. he was the love of my life and I was proud to admit that.
{The next morning}
I woke up next to Matt with his arm wrapped around me.
I kissed his nose and then got out of bed.
I brushed my hair and put it into a messy bun and then brushed my teeth.
I walked back into Matt's room from the bathroom and he wasn't there.
"good morning gorgeous" he said from behind me.
I turned around and smiled. images from last night flashed in my mind. it was one of the best nights of my life.
"good morning" I said and kissed him.
he pressed me against the wall and kissed my neck, teasing me.
"how was last night?" he whispered in my ear.
"amazing" I whispered back.
he grabbed my hand and we went downstairs.
"here" he said handing me a bracelet.
"what's this?" I asked him.
"it's a bracelet that lets you do anything that you would've done if you were a human. for example, go in sunlight, eat normal food, drink regular drinks, etc. anything that a human would do" he said, kissing my forehead.
"oh thank you" I said and put it on right away.
I kissed Matt and then bit into his neck, drinking his blood.
we switched places and he bit into my neck and drank my blood. it hurt but not that much. it was bearable.
"wanna go on a walk?" he asked me.
"sure, let me go get some running pants on" I said and went upstairs.
{Matt's pov}
the only reason I wanted to take her on walk was so that she could learn to drink humans blood. she drank vampire blood and animal blood but human blood is a lot different. it's so much more addictive. I drink humans, animals, and vampires blood. so basically every kind of blood there is and I want to teach her how to do that too and also have her be able to control herself.
"okay, read to go?" she said, smiling.
"yeah" I said and grabbed her hand.
{y/n's pov}
we walked outside and it was cooler than I thought. I put on my sweatshirt and then me and Matt started our walk.
about halfway down the road, Matt stopped and walked over to a guy on the other side of the road. I followed him as he started to talk to him.
"hi, I was wondering if you knew where I could find a coffee shop?" he asked the man.
"yeah, right down to the end of the road and it'll be right on your left" he said.
"thank you!" Matt said.
Matt stared into the mans eyes.
"let my girlfriend bite your neck" he said.
the man walked over to me and tilted his head.
"bite him" Matt said.
"no! what?" I said.
Matt bit the mans neck so blood would be dripping from it.
"how about now?" he smirked.
I lunged forward and sunk my teeth into the mans neck. Matt pulled me off of him and held me back.
"we don't want to kill him" Matt said.
the man stood up and matt grabbed him, staring into his eyes again.
"forget all of this happened" Matt said.
the man continued on his walk and so did Matt and I.
"what the hell" I said.
"I'm trying to get you used to the different kinds of blood. you've had vampire, animal, and now human. now all you need to learn is how to control yourself with humans blood so you don't kill them" Matt said.
I nodded my head but I honestly didn't like the idea of it. I don't like who I've turned into. this isn't me and I know it. I feel different and I don't like it.
