It has already been a month for our protagonist. A month since she entered this new school. A month since she met Irma the kinda-goth looking girl and April the red-haired girl.
A month of stopping the alarm, getting up, brushing her teeth, getting dressed, getting her hair done, eating breakfast, brushing her teeth again, anxiously making sure she had everything for the day, putting her shoes on, leave the apartment, take the subway for one hour, enter Roosevelt High School, walk trough the halls and enter the classroom for her first lesson of the day.
That's right. Our protagonist had gotten a subscription for the subway and was now going all alone to her establishment of learning.
No more dad driving her to school.
On another note, school had been going quite well for the first month so far.
Our heroine had been able to set up a good routine for herself and her studies.
Now she was one month in and the students had now their first interesting project for their class of biology : A simple work based on their DNA heritage.
The work was simple : get a swab of spit, insert it in the tube, send the tube to the Worldwide Genome Project group and then get your results.
And so did our heroine for this project that seemed quite amusing to her.
On a sadder note, (y/n) felt like all the days were the same.
(y/n) would get up, brush her teeth, get dressed, get her hair done, eat breakfast, brush her teeth again, anxiously make sure she had everything for the day, put her shoes on, leave the apartment, take the subway for one hour, enter Roosevelt High School, walk trough the halls and enter the classroom for her first lesson of the day.

'It's freaking weird they make us come to school on a Sunday.
Besides, weren't they supposed to just send back a report of the results??
Why'd they wanna give us a presentation of our genetic heritage?'
That's when, as soon as you pushed open the door, something fell dead to the ground.
A person, more precisely.
Of course you didn't hear anything upon entering the building because you had your earphones plugged in.
But you clearly saw the body falling.
And that's not the only thing you saw.
Of course not.
You saw April kick the head of the fallen corpse.
And you also saw the weirdest thing of your entire life so far surrounding the corpse.
Truly, really, unnaturally tall- "turtles?"
They all looked at you. Even April.
"It- it's not what you think (y/n)!"
"Well great! Now we're uncovered!"
"April is this another student of your school?? IS SHE YOUR FRIEND?"
