YOOHOO my little unicorns! New update for ya!
CHAPTER ON, MAH DUDES!
PS: apologies for leaving so often. It appears I can't be consistent on a task.
---------------------------------------------------
Your POV :
The next morning you woke up late.
2:30 pm.
Thankfully it was the weekend already.
But mom, knowing the reason for your tardiness, had gotten upset.
She had started scolding you, saying you shouldn't be waking at such late hours of the day and that your precious console would be taken away for some time.
Being irritated, you chose to isolate yourself in your room for a moment and let your anger cool down.
As a way to pass time, you took the decision to finish all remaining schoolwork and possibly ask your mother to go on a walk afterwards. Of course, you were able to overcome this problem all thanks to the help your brother had provided you in the past.
Your brother, having learnt everything you now had to study, would help you in understanding the lessons when you needed. Still, it took you the rest of the day to finish it all up, so going for a walk was out of the question.
But you still had tomorrow for that.Your mother, while you were working hard, had already called you for dinner a little earlier but you were set on being done today. Understanding, and very happy that you were doing school work, she left you to your business. When you came out of your room it was past nine and your parents had already eaten but nonetheless, your mom chose to accompany you while eating.
Somehow the conversation started nicely but, as it always must be, it immediately diverted to the topic of school and grades.
"You must start studying as soon as you get your first lessons"
'Lay off'
"Always do the homework the same day it is given"
'Can't I have a break after learning for a day?'
"Do not slack off or you will get low scores"
'Just because you don't ALWAYS work means you're slacking'
"Obviously you don't want to fail like you've done before."
'I don't fail, you just suck all motivation out of me'
"I will be terribly disappointed if you get bad grades"
'Oh boy, here we go...'
"I would be very ashamed if you didn't make it to college!"
'Of course you always seem interested in us going to college and nothing else'
"Look at your brother! He's already finished his studies!"
'He's older than me! What the hell?!'
"Why can't you be more studious like your brother?"
'Maybe because you didn't always bark at him'
"He might not have been the best student but he's always had good grades!"
'He was just lucky...'
"Unlike you, your brother's never had someone to help him"
'That's not my fault! And you did say you paid him tutors when he needed!!'The atmosphere had gone cold. You had gone silent. You were doing you best to stop the tears from falling. Lest you would get another hearing of mom.
That scenario wasn't uncommon. When did it start?
Absolute no idea.
How did it start?
Absolute no idea.Though, you did wish for answers.
Blood. Only blood.
On the carpet. On their clothing. On your hands.
Stains getting bigger and bigger as they slowly spread through the fibers of the fabrics.
Blood on their chests.Everything felt cold yet so hot. Wanting to run but legs fixated.
This body felt heavy. So heavy. Gravity seemed to be more heavy.Everything felt so strange.
Everything was blurry? Everything was blurry.
Up, down?
Left, Right?What?
