Hey everyone! The third chapter is here!!!

~~~~~~
Brother's PoV
After many long hours of flight and getting out of the airport with some heavy luggage, we were finally in that new place of ours. It's one of  those extra, real fancy two story apartments. A duplex apartment, if you will.
I suppose our mother's hard work of saving and managing all of the family's expenses is finally paying off.
But still.
Making me come too?
I could've stayed back home. In our old house. Could've taken care of it.
Hell, even my sister could've stayed with me.
We might not be the perfect siblings but we can do just well.
What was it with this sudden 180?
And of course, close to me was my sister who looked quite sad. Depressed even.
I told her to pull it together.
Clearly, there's no point being sad now. We've already moved.
Best she can do is patiently wait her four years of high school and then she can do whatever.
Protagonist PoV
Some days have passed since our protagonist and her family's arrival in this new place.
"Mama, can I go outside?"
"No, It's too late in the evening now. It's already gotten dark. Besides you should start getting a good sleep's schedule for school. It's starting soon."
Sleep.
heh...
When was the last time you had a decent sleep?
Everyone in the D.V. household was asleep. Everyone, safe for our protagonist who still couldn't sleep.
Of course, over the years our teen lost her good schedule of sleep. It became degraded, falling asleep always later and later in the dead hours of the dark.
Our hero was by the window, watching the scenery afar, then the streets below.
She seemed so high. It was fear-inducing.
Not that the floor was actually very high.
But this child had a kind of fear of heights.
Then she saw it.
The fire escape.
