Chapter 13: Here we go again

Harrys P.O.V

  I opened my eyes and realized that it was still dark outside. Ron was snoring and a baby could be heard crying from upstairs. We all made beds on the floor of the living room just so we wouldn't wake up my mum,dad, and baby me. Especially with Ron snoring like he does. Baby me was still crying and I also heard soft sobs. I know I shouldn't see my baby self but since I am only one in this time it shouldn't be a problem. I just feel like I need to go see if everything is okay.

I quietly got up from the floor and padded up the stairs. I got closer to the nursery and heard my mum singing to the baby me. I couldn't help but let a tear fall. I have always wondered if mum ever sung to me and now I know she has.

The door to the nursery was cracked opened so I peeked my head in and lean my head on the door frame and closed my eyes just to listen. Mum has a beautiful voice. I was listening to the words of the song she was singing.

She finished singing the song in a soft harmony and I couldnt help but smile. I knew that my mum loved me no matter what and she didnt blame me for her untimely death.

"Harry, what are you doing up sweetie?" Mum had noticed me at the door.

"Sorry mum,  Ron is snoring and I heard baby me crying and so I wanted to check on him" I replied.

"He is fine" she said looking down smiling."How are you getting along sweetie?"

"I guess I am alright, I'm just wanting all of this to be over and be able to save you and dad. Along with everyone else."

Mum looked at me with a sad expression ," Babyboy, you have had way to much weight on your shoulders all these years."

I didn't reply just nodded slightly.  Why worry my mum. I watched as she layed down the baby in his crib. She tucked him in and kissed his forehead. Too bad I barely remember my childhood before Voldemort ruined it. I can tell that my mum loved singing  to me and caring for me. I snapped out of it and seen mum walking toward me. She reached for my hand and I grabbed hers and she walked me back to where I was sleeping. She tucked me in, kissed my forehead and started singing the song that she had sung to baby Harry. Instead of rocking  me because I'm an adult now she lightly rubbed her thin fingers through my hair. I closed my eyes and that was the last thing I remembered because I was out.

I woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon. I opened my eyes and looked around and realized that I was alone. I got up and walked into the kitchen and seen everyone sitting around the kitchen table including Sirius.

"Morning pup. Have some breakfast." Sirius offered with a piece of bacon in his mouth.

"Thanks" I went and sit beside Ron. Who was more concentrated on the food than realizing that I was up.

"Okay, Harry since you are awake now, we have to make a plan." Hermione said jotting down things on a piece of parchment

"Well I think we just need to start from the beginning." I said.

"That's what I thought obviously, but Harry we have to do this as quick and as safe as possible. We can't go traipsing around just looking for people to save. We have to know in what order we need to start." Hermione said exasperated.

I looked around the table,"any ideas?"

"We can't save everyone but we can save a lot of them." Ron stated.

"Well I have one favor to ask of you all, besides saving myself and my friends, could you also save Marlene McKinnon? I hate to say it but I have a lot of regrets that I don't want to say right now. I have alot to make it right with her." Sirius said looking lost.

"Yes we will, don't worry Sirius." Hermione had alot of confidence.

"Okay so she died before James and Lily right?" Draco asked?

"Yes, Travers had a hand in it, and I'm sorry to say that you're  father and aunt also." Sirius answered

"I'm sorry sir." Draco looked downcast.

"It's  not your fault Draco, we will fix this." She said taking his hand.

"Okay, I guess we will start with Marlene." Hermione said and jotted it down, "now we need to know where she died."

"Her home, her whole family died." Lily replied. " They died three weeks ago."

"Okay, we will go and find her and her family and take care of it." I said standing up. "Let's go."

"Can't we finish breakfast first?" Ron asked.

"No Ron, eat later." Hermione demanded.

"Okay everyone get into a circle and hold hands." Hermione commanded us crusaders.

We formed the circle and Hermione turned the time turner three turns. Alot of smoke started filling the air around us. We felt a familiar pull and landed in the middle of a yard that stood a big mansion.

"Okay let's go get Marlene and family to safety." Ron said.

We walked up to the door and I knocked three times. I heard footsteps and a lady with blonde hair peeked out of the curtain. She raised her wand, "Who are you?"

"Sirius sent us to save you." Sheila replied.

"Sirius? Why would Sirius send you? He is a egotistical jerk." This had to be Marlene.

"Ms McKinnon , my name is Hermione Granger. We must go quickly."

"Okay come in  and  explain yourselves."

We walked into her home and seen a older gentleman and lady  and a teenage boy about my age.

We looked at them and just started explaining everything as quick as possible.

They all looked flabbergasted  but seemed to believe us.

"Okay what's the plan then?" Marlene  asked.

"First thing Is, we need to leave now." I said.

"Let's take them to mom and dads. We can skip fighting  and just take them to mom's and dad's time and just take them all with us." I said

"Brilliant Harry!" Hermione  explained." But it will not work for everyone , we will have to fight."

"But not today" Draco  replied.

We all grabbed hands and reached for the McKinnon who grabbed on. " here we go again." Ron said while rolling  his eyes
