Chapter 3: Home sweet home

Harry's Pov

We looked around at everyone staring at us holding hands. I pulled Hermione forward and I glance at the slytherin table to see Draco smiling at us. I stopped and pulled Hermione and myself up to him and another boy slytherin said "What do you want Potter?"

I looked at the boy and said, "nothing from you, I came to see if our friends want to sit with us at our table." There was loud gasps echoing through the great hall. Draco was smiling and said," Of course Harry." Draco said getting up.

A few of the slytherins started insulting Draco and he just kept smiling and letting the insults bounce off of him.I turned to find Ally and there she was smiling, I motioned for her to come and join us. She got up and came around to us. Pansy "Pugface" Parkinson looking angry decided to stand up and go over to the gryffindor table. She looked at all the new faces with a hint of revenge in her eye. Hermione,Ally,Draco and I just stood stocked still waiting to see what she was going to do. I glanced up to the teachers table and noticed that Michael was watching in concern and his wolf was growling toward Pansy. Mcgonagall was about to get up to stop Pansy from doing something stupid when I seen Michael hold her arm and whispered something. She looked like she was thinking and then she sat back down.

Pansy turned back to the four of us and walked toward Ally and sniffed. Then with malice said" How can you be in Slytherin? I smell dirt in your blood. You filthy little mudblood!"

Ron stood up and jumped over the table to stand in front of Ally, facing Pansy" listen pugface, don't ever let me here you call her that again. Your the one with dirt in your blood, you evil wretched fat whore!" Ron said with acid.

"How dare you, you bloodtraitor!" Pansy screamed at Ron. "Draco are you going to let this vile piece of filth talk to me like that?" She looked at Draco.

"Well Pansy, let me think...hmmm...still thinking...well what do you know, I am going to let Ron talk to you like that because what he said is true. Don't ever let me here you call my friends filthy names again. If you do then there will be trouble for slytherin house. The Head boy and Head girl are my friends." Draco said nodding at Hermione and Myself.

Pansy decided that she had enough talking and decided to walk out of the great hall saying to herself "revenge is sweet Draco, remember that." Loud enough to where we heard it.

We all go and sit at the gryffindor table. Everyone is shocked by two slytherins sitting with us but we don't care. Mcgonagall stands up and asks all first years to come in and be sorted. There were 4 new gryffindors, two new slytherins, two hufflepuffs, and 3 ravenclaws. The headmistress addressed us all and said " welcome back students and welcome new students. Remember that after all that we all have been through I want to see manners, hospitality, and house unity. There is no sense in you lot being a bunch of ignorant dunderheads. We also have a new defense against the dark arts teacher, this is Professor Michael Wolf and his companion Sasha. Please welcome them. Now let the feast begin!" She finished with a look of irritation. A wolf and cats don't mix well. Maybe Mrs. Norris will finally get whats coming to her, I thought but changed my mind. Theres no use in thinking like that. She just needs a good kick.

Food started appearing on all the tables. It looked so good, I went for chicken and rice and started digging in while never letting go of Hermione's hand.

Hermione's pov

I looked at Ron and smiled because it seems that he has found the one. He keeps looking at Ally in a way I have never seen him look at me or anyone else for that matter. I think he is going to be happy with Ally. She is different and she seems to have caught Ron's heart. Im thankful that we are a family and he will always be my brother in a way.
