38. When you think someone in the band doesn't like you

"Good'ay love." Louis greets you with a big hug.

"Hey Louis!  How are you?"

"Doing alright.  Yourself?"

"Right rain.  Hey Liam!"  He engulfs you with a big hug as Louis and Niall greet each other.  "How are you?"

"Hey Harry."  He greets you politely and gives you a quick hug.

Out of the three boys, Harry was the only one who you hadn't gotten close to since you and Niall started dating 10 months ago.

The five of you have an enjoyable meal together but Harry barely says a word to you.  When he get's up to use the bathroom, you comment quietly to Niall.  "I don't think Harry like me very much."

"What?" He answers, distracted by Liam and Louis conversation.  "Harry?  Why would you think that?"

"I don't know, it's just a feeling I get."

Niall raises an eyebrow.  "Do you want me to talk to him?"

"If you get a chance alone with him.  Maybe he resents me for taking up a lot of your time, maybe he thinks that I'm a gold digger and wanting my 15 minutes of fame, maybe-"

"Y/N.  Don't worry, I'm sure it's none of those things."

Harry comes back and you all get in your separate cars to head to hotel where the boys are staying for some pool time.  "Harry can I catch a ride with you mate?"  Niall asks walking with Harry to his car. 

"Sure."  and they climb into the car.

All the drive over, you nervously think of what they could be talking about and how it could all backfire and Harry could hate you and possibilities are endless, so you shut them all down and focus on your driving.

At the hotel you meet Liam in the lobby with Louis coming in right behind you.  You follow the two of them to the pool area and quickly change and shower and join them in the pool.  The three of you swim around and goof around for a few minutes before Niall and Harry come and enthusiastically join in.

You frown and anxiously watch Harry's behavior and countenance but it's nothing out of the ordinary, so you try to relax and have fun with the boys.  Niall noticing your frown, hugs you from behind spinning you around in a circle to make you smile and kisses you softly on her lips.  Liam and Louis rib the two of you for a while but you both ignore them, basking in the warmth of your kiss.

After half and hour later, you climb out of the pool and onto a pool chair to tan while Niall and Louis chat in the hot tub while Liam and Harry do laps.  After a couple of minutes, you get that odd sensation that someone's watching you.  You open your eyes and sit up.  It's Harry.  He's resting his elbows on his knees and watching you.  He smiles slightly when you notice him and sits up.

"Hi."  You turn to face him with a hesitant smile on your face.

"Hey."

"How were your laps?"  You ask foolishly, having no idea what to say or what he wants.  You quickly glance at Niall, who's already watching you, and he winks before turning back to his conversation with Liam.

"Good."  He pauses, "So.  You and Niall."

"Me and Niall?"  You repeat dumbly.

"You love him?"  He studies you seriously.

"Love him?"  You look over to him in the hot tub and watch him.  At the moment he turns around, catches your eye and sends you a heart-stopping smile, you beam back at him, and turn back to Harry with your smile still lighting up your face.  "Yeah.  I do."

Harry smiles at your smile and leans back on his chair.  "Good.  Cause you know, it's been a while since he's been in a long term relationship and I don't want to see him hurt."

Surprised at his honesty, you blush slightly and agree.

Harry grins.  "Have you told him yet?"

"No."  You say.  "but soon."  you whisper, with a smile edging around the corner of your lips.
