4. He Meets Your Best Friend

        "Naill!  Hurry up!  We're going to be late!"  You yell through the house.  You and Niall were going to met Y/B/N for luch today.

        "I'm comin, I'm comin."  He mutters pulling on a hoodie.

        Y/B/N and you had been friends since you were little and even when you moved away, you remained close.  She wasn't too thrilled about the idea of you dating Niall, him being a big celebrity and all but with the passing of time she seemed to accept it.

        Niall was pretty chill about the whole thing, you were probably more nervous than he was.  You just really wanted Y/B/N to like him, her opinion of him meant a lot to you.

        "Y/B/N!"  You squealed giving your friend a big hug.

        "Y/N!  It's so good to see you I missed you so much!" she replied returning your hug.

        "I've missed you too!  Y/B/N I'd like you to meet my boyfriend Niall.  Niall this is my best friend Y/B/N"  You say introducing the two.

        The three of you made small before you got an important call from your mom.  "I'll be right back."

Niall POV

        "Oh no!  She's leaving!  What we going to do now?  What do I say?  Quick Niall, think of something!"

        "So you've know Y/N for a really long time then, right?"

        Y/B/N smiled, "She's smiling!  Smilings a good thing right?"  "Yeah, Y/N and I have been friends since pre-school"

        I nod, I remeber Y/N telling me that now.  "Oh man, we're lapsing into silence again!  What do I say?  I wish the food would get here already, I'm straving!" 

        Y/B/N grins.  "Yeah me too.  It always seem to take forever when you're hungry."

        "Yeah,"  I nervously chuckle, "Crap!  I didn't mean to say that out loud!"

        "One time, my dad and I had to 45 minutes at Culver's."

        "What's Culver's"

        "It's the semi-fast food joint.  The have the BEST frozen custard!  Yeah, so, anyway, it was really busy night when we went and they lost our meal ticket.  But uh, they gave us a token for a free scoop of custard in apology."

        "Food.  yes.  I can handle talking aobut food.  Maybe this won't be such a disaster after all.

Your POV

        You just finished your talk with you mum and were worried about how Niall and Y/B/N were getting on.  You walk back in the restaurant expecting two see them awkwardly trying to get to know each other.  You didn't expect to see them looking totally at ease with each other and......... laughing?

        "Hey guys.  What's so funny?" You ask sitting down next to Niall.

        "Y/B/N was telling me the time... you..." he couldn't even finish the sentence he was laughing too hard.

        You smile, confonused, but happy to see your two favorite people getting along.
