31. Nursing Niall

"Y/N?" Niall calls from the bedroom, where you thought he was still asleep.

"Yes?"  You call back, getting on your other shoe.  You have an early meeting with a friend.  You look into the door way of your room.  Niall's propped up on some pillows, looking very pale.  "Are you okay?" Niall shakes his head.  You raise your wrist to his forehead.  It's hot.  "I think you have a fever.  I'll go get the thermometer and some water."

"Okay."  He agrees weakly.  

You leave and hurry back with them.  While he takes his temperature you set up your defuser on the table beside the bed and put some thieves oil in it.  "I'll cancel my meeting."  You decide after checking the thermometer.  He's got a pretty high fever, and you want to stay home to take care of him.

"No." Niall protests.  "Go.  It's important."  It is, but Niall is more important.  "I'll be sleeping anyways.  Go."

"Okay." You agree reluctantly and give him a kiss on the forehead and leave.

Thankfully you're meeting ends early and you hurry home to Niall.  When you arrive home Niall is laying in the middle of the living room floor.  "Niall!  What happened?!  Are you okay?!  What are you doing out of bed?"

"You're home."  He smiles and caresses your face with his hand.

You beam and kiss his hand, completely in love with him.  "C'on, let's get you back into bed."  You help him and walk with him into the bedroom.

"Can you get me a beer?"  He asks, as he's getting settled into bed.

"No."  You laugh.  "You can't have a beer."  He pouts.  "But I will get you some orange juice.  Do want something to eat?"  He shakes his head no and closes his eyes.  "Alright.  I'll be right back."

You come back with the orange juice and some crackers.  After placing them on the beside table you perch on the edge of the bed.  "Do you need anything else?"  He shakes his head so you get up to leave but he grabs you wrist.  His beautiful eyes gaze steadily into yours.

"Stay?  Please."
