6. He Hears You Sing for the First Time

        "Y/N, I'm going to run to the store and pick up a few things.  Do you want anything?"

        "Can you pick up some chips?  We're almost out."

        "Sure.  I'll be back soon."

        "Kay." You replied as he shut the door.  It was just a lazy Saturday afternoon.  You and Niall had been dating for 8 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days.  Not that you were counting or anything.

        You turned on the t.v. and flip through the channels but nothing catches your attention.  you turn it back off sighing.  You stand, and head to the kitchen, you might as well do the dishes.  It's better to do them when Niall's not around.  He always get's bubbles everywhere.

        On your way to the kitchen, you turn on the stereo and put in your favorite c.d.  After a while you start singing along, getting lost in the music.

        When your favorite song comes on you turn down the music a little because you like hearing yourself sing it.  

        When the last notes fade, you hear Niall's voice behind you, "Wow, babe!  That was amazing!  How come I've never heard you sing before, huh?"  He comes over to you and gives you a hug.

        You blush, shrug and say shyly, "I don't know.  I was; just shy, I guess.  Besides, you sing for a living I didn't want you to think I was horrible at it."

        "I would never think that." He states staring steadily into your eyes.  "You are amazing!"  He gives you a kiss conferming his words.
