Marrissa laid in bed reminiscing over Scotty and her date to the movies. The date surpassed her actual expectations. Scotty was an ok guy once he had a chance.
Hopefully he could get out of all the possessiveness. That was his only fault. Feeling the bed dip and not the least bit suprised that it was Scotty. 'Marrissa I will not rush you into intamacy but being this close I have to hold you in my arms if not Eric is restless and before you ask Eric is the name of my wolf. But be warned once you shift you will go into heat every couple of months. Since you will be alpha female your body will want to be with pup. Again no pressure just warning you. I will help you through it.'
Marrissa sighed and rolled over onto Scotty's chest. 'Only thing we can do is one day at a time. With everything going on people chasing after me and my family we are going to be busy.' Marrissa replied embarressed. A few minutes later the walls started to shake and pieces of the ceiling started to crumple to the floor. The house shook so bad Marrissa fell to the floor.
'Marrissa I need you to stay here baby I meed to check in with my dad to access the damage.' Scotty pulled Marrissa up into his arms and slammed his mouth down onto hers. 'Stay safe. I will be back as soon as possible.' Setting Marrissa down on the bed Scotty ran out of the room and down the stairs.
Scotty ran out the alpha house door and to the crowd that had gathered around the caretaker cabins, or what remained of the caretaker cabins. Good thing they were being renovated and were vacant at the moment. Written in what smelled of bood was "We will get her. We will kill you and your pack."
'Dad any clue who they are? We have to protect my mate we can't let her get taken.' Scotty was almost hysterical.
'We will son. We already have our best trackers tracking them. They are on the scent. Smells are rogues and human. Go to the southren border for patrols. Call your future beta and have him go also. This is a good learning oppertunity.'
Scotty called his beta and told him to meet him on the southern border of the territory. Scotty arrived at the meeting point first waiting for his best friend and beta. About 10 minutes later when Christian Romero arrived they decided to walk the pack border.
After about a mile of walking the border Christian and Scotty spotted several human bodies. On close inspection they counted 10 bodies all dead with their throats slit.
Scotty noticed that in one of the dead humans hands was clutched a piece of paper. Scotty pried the hand open and unwrinkled the paper to a single name written on it. Mary Elizabeth.
So the new question is who is Mary Elizabeth. 'Christian let's head back and give this to my father Alpha Mark.'
'OK I will meet you back at what is left of our pack house.' Replied Christian before shifting into his black and white wolf.
