Part Eighteen

Kelsey's P.O.V.

"Kelsey," he sighed, rubbing my knuckles with his thumb. "You can't just shut us down. You haven't got out of this room for three days already. You're barely eating. You look like a complete mess. I know something's wrong. Tell me."

I stared ahead, avoiding an eye contact with him.

It's been three days now since it happened. I'm not sick but the thought of what my own uncle did to me was enough for me not to show up to work anymore. I tried to block the memory of that night; but every time I close my eyes, it just keeps on becoming more like a nightmare - all I can see was the lustful look on his face as he do it to me.

I haven't talked to anyone about it. Actually, I haven't spoken since then. I'm afraid. I want to tell Ashton that he was right and it had happened to me. I want to tell him and Luke everything that happened that night - they know what to do. I want to tell them but he told me he'd kill everyone who finds out about it. So, even though they're trying to talk to me, I just shut them out. I don't want to trouble them.

"Look at me, Kels," Luke begged, cupping my cheeks and gently positioning my head to look at him. We locked eyes and I can see that he must have been crying too. It makes me hate myself knowing it must be because of me - I know for a fact that both him and Ashton were worrying about me.

"Tell me what happened, Kels," he continued. "Please."

I bit the insides of my lips and shook my head.

I can't, Luke, I'm sorry - I said in thoughts.

There was a knock on my door as Ashton peeked his head. "Hmm. Someone's here to see you, Kelsey."

Sighing, Luke wrapped his arms around me, pulling me in a hug. He planted a kiss on my forehead and said; "I'll be back later, okay?"

I nodded as we pulled away then he went out with Ashton, closing the door behind and leaving someone standing a few feet away from me.

"Hey," a familiar voice said. I looked at him. He tried to smile at me, nodding at the bed. "Can I sit?"
