Michael's P.O.V.

Just as I decided to accept it and move on, things decided to fall out. Everything is a mess.

After all the talking that Calum and I had, all the thinking I've been into, I ended up with the decision of letting her go and marrying Alli instead. Maybe he's right - it's for the best. It's for Kelsey's safety, too. She needs to get as far away as she can away from me. I don't wanna hurt her at all.

I can't let her stay here any longer - my demon is becoming stronger and stronger and its cravings for her is becoming different as days passed. It isn't just the taste for blood - but more - and it is something I'm afraid of.

"What the actual fuck?!" I said, almost yelling. Alli and some random guy I recognized as one of my classmates in literature were making out. I was just passing the room where she's said to be preparing now when I heard noises.

"What are you doing here?" Alli said, pulling away from the guy. She's now red in embarrassment. "You're not supposed to be here! It's bad luck!"

"And he's not supposed to be here making out with you!" I shouted, pointing angrily at the guy.

He just looked at me, smirking as he slid his hands in his pockets.

"God, Alli!" I continued, eyeing her. "How many guys are you fucking?! It's done! We're done! We're n---"

I was cut off by pain. The guy punched me in the jaw, hitting me hard enough to send me to the floor. I winced as he pinned me down.

I can hear Alli laughing and a door being locked. She leaned down, cupping my cheeks. First she was caressing it until she slapped me.

"Pretty kitten face," she smirked. "But too stupid."

She laughed again. This time, together with the guy.

"Michael, I'd like you to meet Cameron, my boyfriend," she continued, sitting on a chair in front of me.

"Oh wait! Fiancé rather!" She continued. "The real one. We're getting married, mmm, let's say, probably a couple of months from now."

"Wh---" I started, confused.

"We've been together for six years," she said. "Every time I go out, whenever I don't go home, I am with him. I'm surprised you never caught me until now."

"What are you---" I said but she cut me off again.

"I never wanted to hurt you, Michael," she continued. "I had a plan. Marry you. Take your money. And act as if we're drifting apart and the marriage was all wrong so we can get a divorce. His uncle's a lawyer, he can do something about it. That is, only if you've been good to me. Or else I would have to do it the other way and kill you. You know, make it look like an accident and everything."

"You whore!" I growled, struggling to get up. But he had pinned me down real good.

"I know. But. You fell," she laughed. "Now, I won't throw away what we had. You were kind enough to me. I'll give you a deal."

"I'm not making any deal with you, bitch!" I protested, eyeing her.

"Yes, you are, babe," she snapped. "Or I will sell you out to the police. You think I'm as stupid as you? I saw the knife. I know you've been killing people!"

"You know?" My eyebrows knitted.

"Not really. Don't know why and who you killed but I know it's not just a one time thing ," she said. "But it's enough to get you in jail. Easier for me to rob you and steal everything. You won't be needing anything when you're there anyway."

"You----"

"Now, now, Mikey," she continued, cutting me off. "Pretend that nothing happened and marry me. We'll stick to the original plan and you'll be free in two months. Plus, if you're good, I'll be leaving you some so you can go somewhere and start a new life. Or, I'll hand you over to the police. I suggest you take the first one, babe."

A/N: To be fair, I was listening to Money - hence, why Alli is the way she is.
