Kelsey's P.O.V.
I do love him, okay? No matter how hard the situation is. Even with Alli around or the prophecy telling us of the worst thing that might happen - I just don't care. It's just some stupid prophecy - and Calum nor anyone can say we can't be together.
At least, that's what I'd like to think. Cause the truth is we just can't be together. Sucks, right? Luke loves me but I chose Shawn over him. And, now, Michael and I have the mutual feelings for each other but I can't do the same decision. He's getting married tomorrow and it'll be for the best as I would have every reason to stop seeing him. The plan would be perfect - soon I can go far away from him or even go back to our world and live there instead. I'd be with my real family for the first time.
Have more time with Calum. We have loads to catch up.
And I will forget all about him and save both Calum and I from death.
"Kels," Ashton said, knocking at the door and peeking his head.
"Hi, Ashes," I smiled, sitting as he entered the room. "Feeling better?"
"Took Advil but I'll he alright," he grinned. Then he tossed me an envelope. "It's, ahm, for you."
"From who?" I asked curiously, taking the white envelope and studying it. It was plain and the only word in it was my name written in black ink.
"No idea," he shrugged. "Just found it at the front door - not in the mailbox at all."
"Oh, okay," I muttered, opening it, and pulling out a letter. I chuckled, "well, definitely not a bomb."
He laughed. And before closing the door, he added; "lunch in ten."
"Thanks," and he was gone.
I unfolded the letter.
"Leave town now. It's dangerous," I read. My eyebrows knitted. Nothing was written aside that, leaving me puzzled as to whom it may have came from.
As I was about to put the letter back, I felt something inside it. Curious, I checked it. Money was tucked inside - a huge amount.
Whoever sent this really wants me to leave.
But who?
And what does this person knew about what's happening?
