Embarrassing Phoenix

Ryland's POV...
Victor finally came in "you look like-" Trace cut himself off looking at his moms disappointed face "it's what I get for only drinking like 3 glasses of wine when I could for years and then going to be bar and have whiskey and whatever else" he said.

I could feel the guilt and the upset washing over Victor, he'd done something that was potentially dangerous in his mind but I'm not a strong telepath or shadower so I can't completely see what he's done, all I know is that he's completely bad because his shield was weak.

I felt his shield spark into life as he applied it in full again, I look and saw him staring at me 'keep out of my mind' he said telepathically to me 'sorry it was accidental' I confess back he gives me a slight nod and goes into the kitchen and it isn't long before we hear him throwing up "oh Victor not in the kitchen" Karla said running in.

"Well I don't think I can stomach my sandwich now" said Zed we all laughed minus Sky "you can eat it" she said firmly they stared at each other talking telepathically, Zed picked up his sandwich and took a bite "I'm glad we had that chat" Sky smiled then walked away from him and high-fived Phoenix.

Karla came back in the room "that boy is...ugh" she said, Victor must have done something to really annoy her cause normally she never said a bad thing about her boys even when they were constantly in trouble at school, not all them were bad Yves and Uriel never got detention, Will and Xavier weren't too bad but they did get wrong and detentions every so often but Trace, Victor and Zed were the bad boys of the school "want me to try?" Uri asks his mom, who smiles at him "if you want to, baby" she says. Uriel gets up and wanders into the kitchen "he's a darling"

We just sit there watching TV waiting for Vick, Uri and Will to come out to kitchen "you idiot!" We heard Will say and then Victor came storming out and leaned against the door frame "Misty, dear" he spoke softly "get your gift under control" he snapped a little Misty cuddled into Alex "sorry" she said weakly.

Will and Uriel came out "oh, this is just too good go on Victor tell them what the strongest Benedict has gone and done" Will said laughing slightly we all look at him.

Uriel looks at Saul "you'll love this" Victor glares at them both "Victor Benedict, what have you done?" Victor rubs the back of his head "I've... decided to go pack and book tickets to Afghanistan, see ya" he ran upstairs.

Xav laughed "pussy" he mumbles and then smacks his head against the wall, he held his head "Victor, I'm gonna kill you" he shouts and we hear Victor laugh "dude I can make you hurt yourself more than me" he said I look at Xav "what are you doing?" I ask him "trying to heal my head" he laughed.

Will taps Xav on the back "I got ya, bro" he said "Vick, stop!" He shouted "what?" Victor calls back downstairs "you are gonna walk into something, the danger levels around you have gone up, go left" he said "left a little more, there done..safety zone" he said "1, 2" he said putting up a third finger which is followed by a grunt from Victor and a bang "did you just made your brother knock himself out by walking onto the loose floorboard?" Saul said "he hasn't been knocked out, he's fine" Will said.

Karla looked at mom "do your children do this too?" She asks my mom "turn their gifts on each other? Yeah, all the time" mom answers back looking at each other us, Karla nods then goes upstairs to check on Victor.

Saul looked at Will "don't ever do that to brother again, he's hurt" he said they all looked worried "and embarrassed" I add they all looked at me "yeah that's my cue to go up" Yves said Phoenix looks at him he gives her a weak smile and ran upstairs. She looked at Sky then back at the direction Yves went "oh no" Phoenix said covering her face into Sky's shoulder "what's happened?" Phoenix mumbles something causing Sky, Zed, Xav and Crystal to laugh.

I look confused at them "Will, you made Vick walk on the loose floorboard and it knocked the cupboard which knocked Phoenix suitcase..Vick was covered in Phee's underwear" Xav said everyone just burst out laughing minus Phoenix who was bright, bright red.

Karla, Victor and Yves came down Phoenix hid behind Crystal as Sky was too short. Vick just laughs lightly and wanders over to her hugging her but she slapped him hard only making him laugh again. Phee runs over to Yves and hugs him.

Yves snaps his head up at Victor "did you look at my wife's underwear?" He asks Vick shrugs "some did last one my face and all over me, blame Will" he said

We decided to go for a ski to get Phoenix's mind off Victor seeing her underwear. I put my skis on and then went to the ski lifts which Saul operated for us. I could see loads of girls staring at the Benedicts, even some males were, they were like royalty around here.

"Victor?" We heard and I notice that Victor froze "dad, get me up now" he said Saul shook his head and pressed the button for Victor, Will and Margot I laughed "who's that?" I ask Uriel he laughed "Victor slept with her, years ago back when he was in his Senior year and she had some sort of addiction with him since" he says.

She comes over "hi Uri, it's ok for me to call you Uri right?" She asks Uriel nodded unsure, the poor guy always gets stuck with Victors old booty calls "so it's odd to see you all in one place" she said Uriel smiled "yeah well we all had time off so thought why not" he said she looked at Tarryn who was just staring at her smirking, the girl was flirting with her fiancé in front of her.

I could see-I didn't even need my gift-Tarryn wanted to punch her as she looked her up and down "who are you?" She asked "oh, this is my beautiful and wonderful partner, Tarryn" Uriel introduced Tarryn looks at him he shrugged lightly "hi Tarryn I'm Christina, Victor and I used to date" she said all the Benedict that were there giggled a little looking away.

Tarryn smiled "ja? how long did you date for?" She said the girl looked at Tarryn "where you from?" She just completely ignored the question Tarryn asked "South Africa" Tarryn said then looked behind her checking on Alex "awe, is he your son?" She asks Tarryn's face dropped it was so hilarious "he's 17" Tarryn stated staring at her, she loves Alex like he was a son- or a little brother-but it was sort of offensive as she was either either calling her old or a slut.

Uriel grabbed her hand "well it was loving catching up again Christina but Tarryn and I have a bet to see who can reach the bottom of the slope the fastest" Uriel said and dragged her on the ski lift with him, I laughed and climbed on with them. I love Tarryn mad it's funny, I would have to find ways to wind her up more.
