*Chantal POV*

The rest of the day was pretty much a blur. Keyaira was in most of my classes so that made everything a little better to know that now I wouldn't have to go through all these classes by myself anymore. The bell rang dismissing us from seventh period, which in my case was English. I gladly gathered all my belongings and rushed out the door along with everyone else. English had to be my least favorite subject. You would think since I didn't have no one to really talk to, I would be able to let it all out on paper, but that wasn't true. I had many other ways that I let out my frustration. Whether it be drawing, painting or even dacing, I some how let it all out, I just couldn't grab a pencil and paper and write out how I felt. That could be the reason as to why I'm barely passing English now with a low D.

I made my way to my locker and began putting everything that I didn't need in there. When I was finshed, I quickly shut the door and made my way to the student parking lot. As I was walking to my car, I saw a sworm of girls huddled around someone as they talked.

"Yes girl, he is fine! And he was telling us how he is really good with all subjects. So you know I'm all for failing some classes if that means Mr. Peanut Butter Brownie can help me!"

I rolled my eyes as they laughed at whichever lame ass whore was already talking about getting extra 'friendly' with Mr.Brown. I began walking a little faster trying to get to my car so I could hurry home and see what my father was talking about this morning before I had to leave to go to work. I was halfway out the door when I heard someone hollar my name from down the hall.

"CHANTAL! Slow down girl, damn!"

I chuckled a little to myself as I watched Keyaira dodge threw everyone just to get to me.

"What's up?" I asked once she finally made her way to me.

"Wh-Where you goin'?"

I shook my head and laughed as she struggled to catch her breath.

"Why you acting like you just ran a damn mile? Chill out. And I have to go home before I go to work."

She threw a stank face at me before she began talking.

"Oh damn, cause I was wondering if you wanted to chill after school and show me around a little."

I turned on my heel and began walking again as she walked with me.

"Sorry, maybe another time though."

"Aight sure. But let me get your number so I can text you later."

"Ok."

I gave her my phone so she could put her number in it and I did the same with her phone.

"Aight Keyaira I'll see you tomorrow."

"Bye girl."

She jogged off back toward the school as I finished the walk to my car alone.

I arrived home thirty minutes later. It took a little extra time to get home due to a car accident that happened on the main road. I got out my car quickly and jogged the little ways into the house. Hanging my keys up, I looked through the foyer searching for either my mom or dad. Neither of them was there so I made my way to the steps and went upstairs to my room. As I was about to unlock my door, I felt someones presence standing behind me. I turned around to be face to face with my father.

"What took you so long to get home? Didn't I tell you we had important things to handle this afternoon?"

"There was a car accident and I-"
