Chapter 5

Brad POV
Today is the day we are moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma and I'm really excited to start my new job.  I went in to my closet to find something comfy to wear for the drive there.  I went downstairs when I got finish getting dressed. I went to put stuff in to the moving truck and I went up stairs to get Ashlyn up and to put her stuff in to the truck. "Hey sweetie wake up we need a head start on traveling to Tulsa so it wouldn't be really late when we get there." "Okay dad I'll get ready." I went out of her room and went downstairs to make us some breakfast so we wouldn't really be hunger on the way there. I made chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and a glass of chocolate milk.
Ashlyn POV
I finally got up and I got ready to start my day with putting my clothes on and put my shoes on and I grabbed my aviator sunglasses and I put them on my shirt to hang. I put my hair in to a messy bun and I went downstairs. I saw my dad making breakfast so I went in to the living room to turn on the tv and I started watching Mickey Mouse since it was on even though I love Mickey Mouse. "Ashlyn breakfast is finish." "Okay dad I'm coming." I went in to the dinner room table to sit down and to start eating my breakfast. I finished all my food and I cleaned my plate up and I put it in to the box so it wouldn't get left here. I put all my boxes in to the moving truck and I started to put all the kitchen and living room boxes in to the truck. "Hey dad I'm done putting boxes in to the truck." "Okay honey we are going to head off in a bit." It's been two minutes and we are getting in to my dads car to start driving to are new town. We are finally out of Indiana and we are 9 hours away from Tulsa. I'm super tired and my eyelids are drippy and I leaned back all the way in my seat and I started to fall asleep I leaned my head back and I fell asleep. "Hey Ashlyn wake up." "What do you want dad?" "Where at a Dairy Queen if you want something to eat?" "Oh yes that's fine I would want a barbecue sandwich and a Pepsi." "Okay honey." "Hello welcome to Dairy Queen how can I help you." "I would like two barbecue sandwiches and two Pepsi." "Okay that would be $1.30 at the first window." My dad drove us up to the first window to give the money and wait for are food. We got are food we parked in a parking spot and then we started to eat are food. After we ate all are food my dad started to drive off because we are only two hours away from our new town and a new house.
