Chapter 10

Ashlyn POV
I got up from the ground and I went to the couch and I sat beside soda. I finish eating my chocolate cake and I drank all my chocolate milk. After we both got done eating everything I cleaned up and it was 4:28 so my dad should be home in two minutes since it's close for him to get off of work. I went back in to the living room and I took of my converse and I sat back on the couch beside Soda. I lead my head on his shoulder and drifted off to sleep on his shoulder.
Soda POV
Ashlyn fell asleep on my shoulder, she looks so cute when she is asleep. I started to play with a strand of her hair. A few minutes later her dad got home and I Ashlyn up so she would be up when her dad comes through the front door. I thought she would just wake up but I was really wrong she elbow me in the stomach. She put her head in my lap and went back to sleep and she also said "5 more minutes" but I keep on shaking her to get her to wake up. "I'm up quick shaking me." Ashlyn said, "okay I'll quick shaking you and also your dad is home but he hasn't came inside yet." "Okay I'll get off of your lap it's quite comfortable."
After that Ashlyn's dad came inside and I introduced myself to him and we talked for a little. Ashlyn went to another so we could talk without her listening to are conversation.
Brad POV
I finally meet the boy that my daughter is friends with and he seems really polite. "Soda be nice to Ashlyn she never really had a friend cause she isn't that nice when she meets new people." "Okay I will sir I know how that is I have a friend like that too." "May I have your permission to ask Ashlyn to be my girlfriend." "Yes you can ask her but if you break her heart I'll hurt you do you understand." "Yes sir I understand." "Call me Brad." "Okay Brad thank you." "Your welcome now go take her somewhere and ask her." "Okay thank you again Brad."
Soda POV
After I talked to Brad I went to get Ashlyn. "Ashlyn will you came on a walk with me." "Yeah I'll come but hold on I need to get my shoes on." She got her shoes on and we head to the park. We got to the park and we walked around."Hey Ashlyn could I ask you something?" "Yeah what is it." "Would you like to be my girl." "Yes soda I would love to!"
After that we went to my house holding hands we finally got to my house. We walked inside the door and everyone was there. All of them looked at us and to are hand and dally asked "are you to a thing." "Yeah we're a thing stupid." ,Ashlyn said a bit annoyed. "What you say you piece of shit." "I said yeah we're a thing stupid and don't call me a piece of shit if you want to do something I'll take you on out side right now." Oh god there going to fight and I hope she is a good fighter cause this might not end well if she ain't. They went outside and we followed and they started to fight Ashlyn let dally punch first and she punched him straight in the nose so it was probably broke because everyone heard a crack. Ashlyn got a busted lip and a few cuts but not as bad a Dally. Man Ashlyn can fight though she probably fought back when she was in Indiana or her dad thought her for self defense. We went back inside the house and everyone congratulated her after that she went to the bathroom to see how bad she was but she wasn't that bad.
Ashlyn POV
"Hey Darry could I stay here for the night don't want my old man seeing this." "Yeah you can but no funny business ya hear." "Yeah I hear ya loud an clear." Everyone thought that was funny expected for dally cause his mad cause I broke his nose. "I'm going to use you phone okay." "Yeah that's fine." Darry said
"My dad said that's fine if I stayed." I said to no one in particular so I went to lay down on the couch but soda stopped me before I could even sit. "Come to mine and pony's room pony can sleep out here." "Okay I'll come but I'm stealing some of your sweats and a tee-shirt." "Okay that good with me." He gave me the clothes and I went to the bathroom to change. After I changed in to soda clothes in went to soda and pony's and I payed down on the bed beside soda and cuddled with him and I fell asleep.
