The Outsiders

Chapter 6

Brad POV
We are still in the car driving and we have one hour to go. I turn the radio all the way up and we listened to different songs and one of are favorite bands the Beatles. So we listened to a album of there songs.
Ashlyn POV
We started listening to the Beatles and one of my favorite song "here comes the sun." We are now ten minutes away and I'm really excited to see my new house and finally be in a new town.
Ten minutes later
We finally made it to Tulsa and I'm really excited to be in my new home and meet all my new teachers at my new school. We made it to the new house and my dad parked the car at the side of the house and I went out of my dads car and I went inside of my new house. I went inside of my new house to pick out my room. I picked the one all the way down the hallway. I opened the door to a medium size bedroom I like this bedroom better than my one in Indiana that one was really small and it was crammed with all my stuff in it. I went back out side to help my dad put all the stuff inside to house. We got down with that, I went in to my bedroom to start unpacking my boxes and put all my decorations up. I got all my photos out and I put them were I want them to be.  I put my desk were I think I would like it to be. I also put all my clothes in to my closet and I made my bed and I mixed the pillows that I got out of the boxes. I went out of my room and I helped my dad with the other stuff that we needed to put to them up. After everything was unpacked my dad started dinner since it's 6:30 now and I have to start a new school tomorrow and my dad starts a new job tomorrow. My dad was almost done with dinner when the phone rang "Ashlyn can you get it?" "Yes dad I'll get it." I went in to the living room to answer the phone. "Hello, who's this?" "This is Robert and who's this?" "This is Ashlyn, Brads daughter." "Well hello Ashlyn is your dad available right now?" "Hold on I'll go and ask him." "Hey dad there is a guy named Robert he wants to talk to you." "Oh okay could you finish the food it's almost ready to be takin out of the oven." "Yeah dad I'll take out the food when it gets done with being cooked." After that he went in to the living room to answer the phone. After about two minutes the oven beeped.  I got some oven gloves on and I opened the oven door and took out the food that we are having. I let the food cool off for a few minutes before I put it on some plates. After I put it on some plates my dad came in to the room and grabbed his plate of food and he set his plate at the dinning room table and he sat down I his seat and started to eat his food. I grabbed my food and I put it on the dining room table and I sat in my seat and the table and started to eat my food. After I was done eating my food I cleaned to dishes and I went to the bathroom to do my nightly routine and when I was done with my routine I went in to my room and I changed in to my pjs and went to bed.
