Chapter 16

Soda POV
Ashlyn fell asleep on my chest in the car so I carried her up to my room and I laid beside her and I put a arm around her stomach and I fell asleep.

~3 hours later~
I woke up slowly and opened my eyes and turned to see that Ashlyn still asleep. I started playing with her hair and she starting to wake up I didn't notice the gang being at the door frame looking at us sleep. Ashlyn finally woke up and asked the gang "how long have you guys been standing there?" "About 30 minutes why?" Dally said. "Because if it was any longer you guys probably won't see tomorrow." Ashlyn said sternly.

Ashlyn POV
I got out of soda and pony's bed and went to the kitchen to grab a drink before I punch someone again because I hate when people stair at me when I'm asleep even if we're dating still don't like people starring at me. I went back to the living room to sit down and watch Mickey Mouse. I looked up at a clock to see the time was 6:45 pm, I slept for 3 hours and I'm still tired and I don't want to go back to my house because before I went to the hospital my dad started drinking more and getting drunk a lot but that's alright with me, because I drink some but I don't drink everyday but the gang doesn't know that, the day before the rodeo my dad gave me a real bad beating even though he was drunk and called me a "no good hood" and kicked me in my damn side and I couldn't move until the next morning of the rodeo but I was all sore and I had to limb over there. I'm glad that they didn't notice that I was sore all over and I barely could walk.
