Chapter 8

Brad POV
I have to go to work early so I have to wake Ashlyn up early to so she won't be late for school. So I went in to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. I combed my hair and got my clothes and then I got my shoes on and went in to Ashlyn's bedroom.
"Ashlyn get up I have to go to work early today."
"Okay dad could I go to the DX shop after school to meet up with some friends?"
"Yeah you can but be home before midnight and I want meet that guy I saw walk you home last night."
"Okay I'll let him know that."
"Bye honey I have to get going."
He kissed my forehead and then left to get going to work. I got out of bed and got my clothes and I went to the bathroom to take a shower. After I got done with my shower I got dress and I did my hair and I brush my teeth. I went back in to my room to get my favorite necklace and my shoes(at the top). I got all my school stuff and I went down stairs to get breakfast.
Soda POV
"Breakfast is done" Darry yelled from downstairs. I went downstairs after I got ready and brush my teeth. I went to the kitchen to get my breakfast and I got a plate of food and I started to eat. I got finish and I told Darry were I was going and I started to walk to Ashlyn's house. I finally got there and I knocked on her door.
Ashlyn POV
There was a knock at the door so I went to the door and opened it to find Soda there.
"Hey Soda."
"Hey Ashlyn could I walk you to school?"
"Yeah Soda that would be nice but we still have a little while until I have to go to school so why don't you come in."
"Okay I'll come in and I will walk you to school."
"Soda my dad wants to talk to you tonight if you don't mind."
"Okay I wanted to ask him something too."
After that I went back in to the kitchen to grab a slice of chocolate cake on a plate and a fork.
"Hey soda do you want a slice of chocolate cake?"
"Yes I would love some that's my favorite."
"Yeah that's mine too."
I went back in to the living room to give the plate to him and I turn on the television to start watching Mickey.
"Thank you, so is Mickey your favorite?"
"Yeah, but some people from my old school thought I'm childish because I like it so much."
"I don't think your childish because two-bit loves Mickey Mouse too so we watch it every time he comes over to are house."
I sat down on the floor and I started to eat my cake and I watched Mickey until it was time to go.
"I'll clean your dish if your done?" Soda said.
"No soda I'll do them you just stay there and wait."
I went to the kitchen to start washing the dishes before I head to school. Soda came behind me and wrap his arms around my waist and kiss my neck up to my jaw line. Then it became a made out in the kitchen. Why don't I skip school and just hang out with you the hole day.
"No Ashlyn you just can't skip school on your damn second day."
"Fine I'll just miss the last two damn classes and come see you at the DX."
"Okay only the last two periods nothing else and sit with Johnny and pony at lunch and maybe two-bit and Steve will be there."
"Okay we better get going."
I kissed his check and try to get my stuff for school but soda grabbed my arm and turn me around and he let go of my arm.
"Hey not a kiss on the check why not the lips?"
"Because we ain't even dating."
"So don't mean that we won't be dating later."
"Okay and what is that supposed to mean?"
"You'll find out later."
Well if you want a kiss come and get it. I ran up to the bathroom and I locked it when I saw soda come around the corner from the kitchen.
"Ashlyn open this damn door now your going to be late!"
"No not until you go away from the door."
"Okay I'll go away from the door if you promise to give me a kiss after you get out."
"Yeah I promise."
I went around the corner and stopped and waited for her there so I would grab her when she comes around it after she gets out of the room that she was in I think that was the bathroom. She finally came out and walked around the corner and saw me there and I grabbed her and put her over my shoulder and I was walking to the couch to put her down on it.
"Soda put me down now!"
"Nope not yet ash."
"Ash what's up with that."
"That's going to be my nickname for you."
"Okay I like it soda."
"Now put me down and I'll give you that kiss."
"Okay I'll put you down for that kiss."
He set me down and I was now on the couch and soda was right beside me so I turn to him and gave a kiss to him on the lips. I went to get my stuff for school and we started to walk to school.
"Well I will got to go see you after you get out of school."
"Okay soda."
Then I kiss his check and we headed to school. We walked together until we got to the DX.
"Bye soda see you later."
"Okay Ashlyn bye."
After that he headed to the DX and I started to head to school. A little after I started walking away from the DX pony and Johnny joined me and we started to walk together to school.
"Hey um guys could I seat with you guys at lunch if you don't mine?"
"Yeah you can Ashlyn." They said in unison
"Okay thank you."
