CHAPTER 23: Run.
Kyle's POV
'Run, Kyle!', my conscious screamed, 'Run. Run! RUN!'
So I did. I ran. I ran as if my life depended on it. I was terrified. I couldn't believe I had let this much happen! I ran out onto the street, completely ignoring the existence of the sidewalk. Cars screeched to stops and horns honked madly, but I didn't care. I just ran.
Where the fuck was I even going? Holy fuck! What if she told Janis? Would she tell Janis?? I had to talk to someone, but who?
David!
That bitch would hopefully help me, but how would I contact him? I didn't have his number since I'd just ran out of the place. I couldn't ask Janis and I definitely wouldn't go back to that house.
I stopped running and just made my way to David's bummy ass group circle crap like a normal person.
Every single thing in my body begged for one thing. And this time it was different from what it usually begged me for. Entirely different. My body begged me to do what I failed to do with my mother; to run. For the first time in a very long time, my body begged me for something other than sex.
I entered the bummy ass place and all those in the medium-sized circle turned to face the interruption which was me. David looked at me and stood up from his chair. He excused himself from the group telling them to speak amongst themselves about their problems, and he walked over to me.
I immediately freaked the fuck out. I was actually asking someone for help! No. No! NO! I couldn't fucken do that so again I ran cause that was the only thing I knew how to do properly other than sexually pleasure people.
