CHAPTER 7: Busy
Janis's POV
"OH MY GOD, WENDY!! WHAT DID KYLE DO TO YOU?!" I scream.
"He ki -kissed me...." Wendy said slowly.
"Why that little..... I'm gonna go up to his house right now and OH MY GOD! He'll be so damn sorry!!"
"I-I'll go with you..." Wendy says quietly.
I burst out the door as if the fucken devil was after me. Wendy literally had to run to catch up to me.
We reach Kyle's house/ business or whatever and I pound on the door causing many people to stare at us. I ignore their stares and pull out my cellphone. I dial Kyle's number immediately.
"Damn! What the hell do you want?!" Kyle asks over the phone.
"What the hell is your problem?" I ask.
"I-I'm busy.... we'll talk some other ti-" Kyle begins.
"Kyle... who are you talking to??" a girls voice is heard.
I'm immediately filled with disgust.
"Umm... yeah I'll call you back, okay?" Kyle says.
"You know what? Just come to my house when you're done being 'busy'", I say then add, "You pervert!"
Kyle chuckles and clicks.
Wendy and I walk back home and I'm still beyond upset. I'm plotting all the ways I could possibly kill Kyle without getting caught. We finally arrive home and we decide to watch a movie while we wait.
After about an hour, there was a knock on the door. Wendy opens the door and Kyle casually entered while trying to fix his messy black hair with his hand.
"Sex hair" I say loud enough for Kyle to hear.
He smirks and Wendy holds back a laugh.
"So, what did you want to talk about?" Kyle asks.
Wendy blushes.
"That you kissed my sister," I say as I glare at him.
Kyle looks at Wendy, who suddenly looks very interested in her fingers and then back at me. He smirks. "And... What's your point here?"
"YOU KISSED MY LITTLE SISTER!!!" I feel anger pouring out of me.
"So? It was just a kiss. It's not like I touched her!" Kyle protested and then mumbles "Though I did ask...."
"So what if you didn't touch her and wait... What?" I begin and stop when I realize what he'd said. I turn to Wendy. "He asked you if he could touch you?" I ask, concerned.
Wendy blushes and nods.
"Oh my God, Kyle!! What is wrong with you?!?!"
"Relax! I DIDN'T fucken touch her so calm the fuck down, Janis!" Kyle yells, annoyance clear in his voice.
Wendy's face reflected the shock I felt.
"I could've forced myself on her if I wanted to, but I didn't! Also, I didn't have to ask, but I did! And I respected her answer, too! So shut the fuck up, Janis!!" Kyle said with a glare, all trace of his signature smirk gone.
I look away from him and Kyle's expression softens. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you. Fuck, you better not cry, Janis, please." He says as he pulls me in for a hug.
I hadn't planned for this to happen, but when Wendy burst out laughing, I had to go with what she'd thought of. "Looks like you aren't such a bad guy after all." I say as I also burst out laughing.
For a mere millisecond, it seems like Kyle blushed, but it was instantly gone. He glares at us and Wendy and I become quiet. He laughs and just invites himself as he sat down on the couch.
"So what were you guys watching?" He asks.
"We were about to watch a movie," Wendy replies.
And the three of us watch the movie in peace.
