CHAPTER 28: That Blows
Kyle's POV
I'd acted on impulse and called David. I told him about my dreams and he didn't help much. He said the things I already knew: dreams are connected with the brain and usually mean something related to your emotions. Plus he encouraged me to go to therapy. A-fucken-gain.
"Therapy doesn't fucken work for me, David. Were you even paying attention when I told you about my life?" I was annoyed and sleep-deprived.
David sighed. "I'm just trying to help..."
Bitch...
"How are things going with the two sisters?", he asked.
"Well, you already know what happened with Wendy, but after you um left, Janis and I hung out."
"You hung out?"
"I didn't fuck her if that's what you're asking!"
David laughed. "I never said anything."
"We watched a movie!"
"Is that all?"
I narrowed my eyes then. "What do you mean? What are you trying to say, David?"
He sighed. "Since you're a sex addict, it would be strange for you to not do anything... intimate."
"We made out and she took her shirt off and I-"
"That seems pretty outgoing of her, doesn't it?"
I hadn't really put much thought into that and I realized he was right. "It was sudden, yeah."
"But you two didn't have sex?"
He sounded surprised and it irritated me. I could have been screwed her! I was just being a gentleman... sorta. "I don't want to push her into it" You fucken son of a bitch.
"That seems new from your part."
"What do you mean?", I asked.
"Well, instead of following your original instincts as a sex addict, you chose to respect her as a person and not have sex with her even though you could."
Of course, I could. I could make any woman get into bed with me if I tried. And sometimes, I didn't even have to try, they just came to me. Running with open arms or... open legs, whichever works.

Wendy's POV
"What's up, kid?" Janis broke me away from my thoughts.
I look at her blankly. "What?"
"What are you thinking about so deeply?"
"Um... I... Nothing!"
"Right...", she said.
I couldn't tell her that I was thinking about Kyle. Especially, not that I was planning on going to his place and talking to him.
"Hey," Janis said as she again broke me away from my thoughts, "I'm going to run some errands, do you want to tag along?"
This was my chance! She was leaving!
I shook my head. "That's okay."
"Okay then", she walked to the door preparing to leave, but then she turned back around, "Do you want me to bring you anything? Candy? Pizza?"
I was going to say no because I just wanted her to leave so that I could leave, but it would maybe seem too suspicious so I thought for a moment. "Oreos. I want Oreos."
