Eric’s P.O.V

“I love you more than anything in the world baby.” Sam spoke to me; he was on the verge of crying as I was. He caressed my cheeks as he kissed me lightly. I would not be able to be with him anymore. I will miss him, he will still remain my best friend but we agreed that long distance relationships wouldn’t work.

“You are the most important thing to me and I’m so afraid to lose you but I need to tell you something.” The look he wore showed fear.

“What? What’s wrong?” I became scared; I wasn’t sure what he was going to tell me but I was afraid to find out.

“We can’t be friends anymore.” I stepped forward towards him, not being able to say one word. He stepped back and I felt my heart shatter into a million pieces. It heart was pounding and I felt sick. I didn’t breathe, I was holding in my breath. Suddenly everything I once knew became unreal. I was losing everything I once had. I couldn’t hold on to any memory of mine. My mind became blank.

Sam’s figure became foggy and he disappeared.

“Sam! Sam! Please don’t leave me Sam, please come back!” His figure appeared again and I stopped screaming. He caressed my cheek and brought his mouth to my ear.

“I will always love you.” He whispered and I shivered at the thought. He began to walk away from me. I wasn’t able to move, I was practically paralyzed. I couldn’t speak, I was mute. I was letting him walk away from me but my mouth wouldn’t open. Once I did open it all that came out were mumbles.

“Don’t leave me PLEASE!!!” I went silent for a moment. “I love you.” My voice was soft and broken.

I began to fall back onto the floor. I was expecting to hit hard but suddenly I was floating. My body turned so it was facing my target onto the nice hard ground. I was fine with this. I was afraid but I didn’t care. My body was a few feet. Then a few inches, then.

“Eric!” I opened my eyes.

“Eric, don’t forget the pictures that are in the closet under the stair case.” My mom yelled from upstairs as I wrapped the cups and china in newspaper, hoping I wouldn’t break any in the process.

“Need help with that?” I felt arms go around my waist and a pair of lips kiss my neck. I recognized those soft lips and that deep, sexy voice. I turned around and kissed his pink lips, snaking my arms around his neck to pull him closer. I felt our tongues dance around with each other. I felt him start to nibble on my lower lip.
