My foot was slammed up against the peddle, my heart racing as I sniffed and whimpered. My poor Felix was at home waiting for me, I needed to get to him fast. My phone buzzed a little, I glanced down to see Felix's message. 'Cry I called the police, please hurry!'As I looked back up, I had just missed a person running across the street. "Fuck!-" I shouted, looking back at the person with concern before continuing my journey. "oh god oh god..." I kept muttering, I wasn't that far away yet it seemed like a life time.
My mind was getting fuzzy, adrenaline in my blood as I parked in my drive way. I opened the door quickly, shutting it hard before locking it and rushing into the house. "Feli-!" I went to call his name, but he was sitting on the sofa waiting for him.
"C-cry...?" He asked shakily, standing and walking over. His face was completely red, sore and wet. He was trembling as he spoke, and put a hand out to me. "C-cry she's gone..."
I quickly wrapped my arms around him, comforting him by rubbing his back. "I know... I know..." I pulled away a second. "So, when are the police arriving...?" I asked, biting my lip.
"S-soon Ryan... soon." He hugged me tightly again, his arms tight around me... I knew, that now, he needed me. He needed someone he could rely on, and care for.
I would be, his new Marzia. New and improved, more loving and caring... In all honesty, I was perfect for the job. I already loved Felix deeply, so he wont have to look for anyone else! I know he loves me too... I can tell from his hugs.
Police sirens were heard from outside, the blue and red lights against the curtains and spreading to the floor.
"They're here..." I said in a hushed voice, before looking at Felix. He had already gone to the door, opening it and going toward the officers, I quickly jogged so I was behind him. "H-hello..." I said as one of the policewomen walked over to us.
"Hello, i'm Officer Danielle." She told us kindly, shaking both our hands. "Now... I understand this is hard. Could you explain what had happened?" She asked softly. I, raised my hand a little.
"I-I can..." I stood beside Felix. "I was picking up Marzia from the airport, as a surprise for Felix as he had came to visit. She told me that she wanted to take a picture of the view at the top of this cliff, so I agreed and parked up there..." My chin trembled as I tried to resist my bottom lip from pushing up. "Th-then she pulled out her phone... I think then she texted Felix and..." I whimpered as tears started to come from my eyes. "She jumped."
Officer Danielle bit her lip before sighing. "I'm sorry you had to witness that," She looked up at Felix. "I'm guessing she was you loved one....?" Felix nodded, sniffling.
"Y-yes... she was." He told her, his hands trembling. I looked down at his hand inches from mine, it was trembling too... I desperately wanted to take his hand and hold it, and I think the officer standing in front of us figured that out. She cleared her throat.
"Good think your masked friend here is here for you, I bet he will be a real help."
I couldn't help but look at at the helpful woman and smile a bit at her, and give a small nod. Finally, Felix stopped looking down and turned to me... his crying made his irises more vibrant, and soft in a way.
"You're right..." He smiled, his eyes still on me which made my cheeks go a little pink. She smiled and looked at me, giving me a nod before going toward her fellow co-workers. I can see her smile drop as she remembers her current situation, as do I.
I look up at the blonde, the light capturing his profile and making his tears shine a little brighter, not as bright as his eyes though."I'm here... And I always will be."
