Chapter 6

You and Mark have been dating for 5 months now. You guys told the Markers and they were so happy! You, Mark, and Bryce hung out on a daily basis. You felt a little bad for Bryce since he always third-wheeled with you and Mark. You could tell he wanted a girlfriend, but you knew he wanted to wait for the right girl.

Mark had recently gone on a family vacation and wouldn't be back for another month or so. You and Bryce hung out during this time. You would meet up at the park, his house, or your house, depending on the day.

One night at the park, you asked Bryce if he had a crush on any girls.

"Not really, I mean I see some attractive girls, but I'm sure I'm not the one for them..." Bryce said.

"Don't you dare say that, Bryce! You are an amazing guy and any girl would be lucky to have you!" You told him.

"Can I ask you something?" Bryce asked.

"Go ahead!" You replied.

"Ok well, um, if you weren't dating Mark, would you date me?" He asked shyly.

You thought about it for a little bit. Bryce was very attractive, and you and him had bonded over so much that it was crazy! He also knows how to treat a girl right and cares more about how they act instead of how they look.

"Yeah, I would." You answered.

Bryce smiled and let out a slightly awkward chuckle. You and Bryce both turned and faced each other. You were staring into his eyes, and he was doing the same to you.

You both leaned in, and your lips connected. You started kissing him, and he did the same. But you pulled back, regretting what had just happened. You ran home. When you got home you checked your phone. Bryce texted you.

Bryce: Y/N I'm so sorry I didn't mean for that to happen! I know you love Mark and I don't know why I did that! I'm so sorry! You can hate me forever if you want to now...

You: Bryce, it's ok. I don't hate you, your my best friend! That's all we'll ever be. I have to tell Mark what happened, but I'll tell him not to get mad at you, it was all just a mistake.

You said bye to Bryce and called Mark.

Mark: "Hey beautiful! I miss you so much! What's up?"

You: "I miss you, too. But I have you tell you something..."

Mark: "What's wrong Y/N?"

You: "Me and Bryce kissed..."

Mark: "What?! I'm sorry did you just say you and Bryce kissed!?"

You: "It was I mistake! We didn't mean to and we feel horrible about it! Please don't think I don't love you anymore! It was just a mistake!"

Mark: "Y/N, when did this happen?"

You: "About ten minutes ago at the park. I ran home after and called you."

Mark: "Well then I'm not upset. I'm happy that you told me right away! I love you, Y/N.

You: "I love you, too. I'm going to sleep, but I'll see you tomorrow when you get back?"

Mark: "Yeah. Bye, sweet dreams beautiful!

You hung up, relieved that Mark wasn't upset with you and Bryce. You fell asleep. Ready for tomorrow.
