Chapter 25

Each and every minute was making you grow more and more nervous. But you were also growing very excited. After all, he was your best friend and you loved talking to him.

The cab driver, after what seemed like forever, pulled up to the MagCon venue. The line was already pretty long, which didn't surprise you even though you were and hour early. After all, everyone wants to meet Cameron, Aaron, Carter, Taylor, Dylan, Jacob, and the rest of them first.

Mark tipped the cab driver while you got out of the cab, holding the stuffed panda close to your chest.

Mark then walked up behind you and interlocked your hands.

"Ready?" He asked.

You let out a breath you realized you've been holding the whole time during the cab ride before responding.

"Ready as I'll ever be" you smiled.

"Then let's go!" Mark said, running while you chased behind him.

You slowed down as you approached the line. Then you remembered something. You forgot to call Chloe.

"Mark! We have to call Chloe!"

"Oh yeah! We forgot to call her back at the hotel!"

"I'm going to FaceTime her, ok?" you told him.

He responded with a nod while you unlocked your phone and went to her contact. You pressed the FaceTime button and held your phone sideways so that both you and Mark would be in the cameras view. After a couple of seconds, a very happy Chloe answered the call.

"OH MY GOD! I didn't think you'd actually call me! I love you guys so much!" She screamed. You noticed that her eyes were getting watery, and you realized Mark did, too. Before you could say anything, Mark spoke.

"We love you, too Chloe! And please don't cry, you're too beautiful to cry."

Chloe was silent for a moment. She seemed as if she were shocked. By what, you did not know. After another minute or so, she spoke again, but this time, very softly. Her voice was just above a whisper.

"You guys think I'm beautiful?" She asked.

"Well of course we do! Why wouldn't we?" you asked her. Then it hit you.

"Chloe, do you get bullied at school?"

She nodded her head.

"Do they tell you you're not beautiful?"

Se looked down. When she looks back up, tears were streaming down her face.

"Yes" she answered softly.

"Chloe, listen to us, ok? You are gorgeous! You have a great personality and I really hope that we keep talking because we really want to be your friend. Not something that's just like a fan talking to a supporter kind of bond, but a real friendship. So do us a favor and don't listen to those bullies, because guess what? They're just jealous of you." You said. By the end of your speech, Chloe had a smile on her face.

"Thank you so much. I have to go but I'll talk to you guys later, ok?" She said.

"Ok Chloe. See you later!" You and Mark said in unison before waving and ending the call.

"That was the best thing I've ever seen someone do for someone else in a long time." A voice said from behind you and Mark.

You turned your head to see someone you weren't expecting to see in a while. Not Jacob, but someone else.

Cameron Dallas.

His face was covered with a hoodie and he wore dirty pants so that the other girls wouldn't recognize him. You smiled at him.

"Hey" was the only thing you could say. You didn't want to say his name, if you did, he would be attached my many fangirls.

"Hey there! So, are you two famous in some sort of way? Because with the way that girl was acting, it seemed like she was a fan of you guys." Cameron said.

"Well, I'm really not that famous. Mark's more famous than me, I'm just his girlfriend, so some of his fans either follow me and support me or follow me and hate on me."

"Oh, well I really liked how happy you guys made that girl." He continued speaking, but only in a whisper. "Do you guys want to come backstage with me to hang out with the rest of the guys?" He asked.

You looked at Cameron for a second, shocked at what he just said. You then looked towards Mark to see he had the same expression.

"Um, sure! We'd love to." Mark responded for you, seeing that you were totally speechless.

"Ok, let's go! I know a way to get in without having to pass all the fans. It's also quicker." He said with a smirk.

You and Mark followed Cameron as he led you to his secret passage way, or at least that's what he referred to it as. You still couldn't believe this was happening. Never in a million years did you think you would talk to Cameron Dallas. But look at what's happening now, you're following him through a secret passage way to go backstage and hang out with him and the rest of the new MagCon crew.
