months go by
she keeps saying,
thinking,
beleiving,
that she'll be home soon.
She has yet to feel content.
Someone could help,
she thought.
She let them in,
she did.
Only to have her honesty,
thrown back in her face.
Walls protect insecurities,
walls hide flaws
walls destroy trust
walls prevent you from being happy
from feeling human.
