Athena's POV
I opened the door to the DNA center which was just prestigious as outside. With all modern furnishings and beautiful decor, it was to nice to be an medical center.    Yet it was, so I signed in at the front desk and sat on a comfy waiting chair with Marcie. A thousand doubts started clouding my mind on why I shouldn't do this, almost reading my mind Marcie looked at me.
"Athena everything will be alright just calm down." She said soothing the storm going on in my mind. I gave her smile and started to calm myself.
"Athena Miller?" A male voice called. Marcie and I stood up and walked to the door where the doctor stood.
"Hello Athena, I'm Dr. Apollo its nice to meet you." He said while shaking my hand.
"Its nice to meet you too, Dr. Apollo this is my friend Marcie." Marcie politely shook the doctor's hand.
"My room is the first door the right I'll be right there, I need to your medical records first." He excused himself. We walked into the room which was beautiful as the waiting room but with colors of yellow. Marcie sat a comfy chair while sat on the examination table feeling like I was going to be dissected. Dr.Apollo came back in the room with a clip board and a folder with my name on it.
"So Athena your perfectly healthy, what are you here for?" The doctor questioned.
"To get a genealogy test Dr. Apollo." I said quietly. Which didn't really matter the room was silent anyway.
"Yes, it said in your file you were adopted. We are going to get some blood and a swab ok? We'll enter that into the data base and be able to find your parents in a week or two." He smiled and left the room again. I thought to myself, I'll know who my parents are in a couple of weeks. Dr. Apollo re-entered the room with a tray filled with a needle and vials a some q-tips.
"Which one first the blood test or the swab?" Apollo asked.
"Blood test." I said getting the harder one done first.
"Ok..." He said pulling out the needle. He cleaned my arm and then poked the needle in. He got the vials and filled two. Then it was the swab.
"Open your mouth please," I obeyed and he got the three q-tips and swabbed the side of my mouth and placed them in seperate vials. "We should get the results in 1-2 weeks, now do you want them sent to you or picked up here?."
"I'll pick them up." I said rather quickly. He nodded and left the room with my DNA.
"Well what do you want to do now Athena?" Marcie questioned.
I smiled "How about shopping?"
