Chapter Twenty-six

Athena's POV
When I finally came to, I was sitting in an abandoned building with graffiti all over reading Quicksilver and other names. I then saw a girl wearing a plain white eye mask, with brown eyes, had tan skin and long black hair kept in a ponytail. She was wearing a short sleeved black top with a leather jacket, jeans and black and white Converse.

"Well look who's awake, Ms. Nosy." She giggled.

" My name's Athena." I scowled at her.

"I'm Karma, but what really matters is who gang are you from?" She said pulling out a knife and twirling it on her finger tip.

"Does it look like I'm in a gang?" I said.

"Girly no need to lie, we know your in a gang and if you don't cooperate I'm going to have to send them your body." She said without a shred of guilt.

" Why does it matter anyway?" I asked.

"Well we're wondering what are you doing spying on us, trying to steal our money and alert your gang, what else?" She said

"Oh no, you got this all wrong I was just seeing what that noise was, I was worried about what was happening and my best friend inside was pregnant so....."

"We'll see if your story checks out, your free to go and if you ever say anything your done." She walked out. I started then to think about Marcie, I felt horrible, I promised I would be back and didn't come back. I almost started to cry when another girl came in.

"Hey, are you ok?" A girl came out. "I'm Star." She said. "I heard your name was Athena." Star had dirty blonde hair it the middle of her back and blue eyes. She was wearing a black shirt with a blue skater skirt, black Vans and a black cat mask.

"Yeah I am, just worried about my friends." I said sadly.

"Well Karma said I can bring you something to eat, want anything specific?" She said.

"Macaroni and cheese?" I asked. She nodded and left the room. I looked around and ended back at the graffiti. The other names made sense now, this was their gang. I read the names slowly: Karma, Star, Tiger Lily, Eclipse, Flash and Cosmic. Star came back in carrying a bowl of macaroni and cheese.

"I'm sorry, but I have to feed you so there's no chance of escape." She said, I signed but nodded and she proceeded to feed me the whole bowl. When I was finished I thanked her and she grinned and left the room. That's when two more girls came in.

"Hi I'm Tiger Lily, I'm here to tend your wounds." I looked at her confused. "Oh you don't know, when you got knocked out you hit your head pretty hard and gave yourself some cuts." I nodded but didn't say anything. Tiger Lily has ombre hair and hazel eyes and tanned skin and a purple eye mask. She was wearing a multi-colored camisole top with some light blue jeans and white Vans.

"I'm Eclipse and one wrong move your dead." She said coolly holding a throwing knife. She was lightly tanned, with navy blue eyes and blonde hair to her chest with navy blue ends. Wearing a navy blue crop top with a silver designs and black joggers and combat boots. I just nodded again and Tiger Lily uncovered my head wound and started cleaning it, I bit my lip so hard it bled.

"Its better than yesterday. The stitches definitely helped it." She said rebandaging the wound.

"Stitches, yesterday how long was I out?" I said panicking.

"Oh about 4 days. I've been checking on your wounds and your healing pretty nicely." She said.

"What!" I said. I've been away to long.
That's when 2 new girls ran in.

"Flash, Cosmic what are you doing here?" Eclipse asked.

"Well Karma told us to bring her the girl." I'm guessing was Cosmic with the galaxy print. She was wearing a black engraved eye mask with a galaxy print sweater, black tights and galaxy print Vans to match. She had slightly tanned skin with blonde hair at her waist and the same grey eyes as me.
