Jordan's POV:

A beach. Hot, thin sand. The warm sand tickled my back, leaving tan grains attached to my coat. Blinding white light surrounded my line of vision, turning to pitch black in an instant.

Reluctantly, I forced my eyes to open. The scenery has changed. An old, worn down wooden wall was on all sides of the room, along with a lime green rug spread across the ground. But the presence of being along wasn't there. Someone was in here with me.

Swiftly, I shot up. It took a few moments for my clear blue eyes to adjust to my surroundings. The first thing I noticed was a large painting hanging on the wall. Chips of wood from the base had begun to fall off, and the corners were peeling slightly.

There were three people in the photograph. The taller of the three had short, pitch black hair reaching just above his eyebrows. Warm brown eyes stared back at me, along with a wide grin. He had a black sleeved hand on a woman's shoulder, and the other on a boy's shoulder.

The woman had long, light brown hair resting on her back, tied up in a ponytail. Ocean blue eyes were looking down at the boy. She had the same wide smile as the man next to her. A green sleeve also held their hand on the boy's shoulder. My gaze finally found the young boy.

He looked to only be nine or ten at the oldest. He had the man's, who seemed to be his father, coal black hair, expect it was much longer, just past the tip of his ears. The women, who I presumed was the mother, had passed her sea blue eyes gene over to the boy.  His eyes were wide in excitement, but the smile wasn't as wide as his parents.

Ruby red sunglasses sat on his nose, the elephant in the room. For a young boy, being in a charcoal black suit seemed a bit odd. Slowly, my gaze went from the photo to the other side of the room. Two people stood there. They seemed.... strangely familiar. The man had his arm wrapped around the women, his cocoa brown eyes sending a nice feeling throughout the room.

"Hello, son." he said softly, grinning wide. I choked.

"D-Dad? M-Mom?" I whispered, barely able to form words. They nodded. My heart soared in my chest.

Instantly, I stood up as fast as humanly possible. My body seemed to work over my mind. Confusion, along with excitement, washed over me as I attempted to comprehend this moment.

The moment I began to run over to hug them, an unrecognizable force began to pull me back, making me unable to move by myself.

"NO!" I screamed loudly. "NO! Let me see my family! No!!" Tears began streaming down my face. Struggling, I attempted to squirm away, but failed horribly. "NO! I NEED TO SEE THEM!" As I got dragged away from the only family I've ever seen, their expressions didn't change. They just continued smiling and waving as I continued screaming and screaming to get to them.

Blankness surrounded my vision. My screams were muffled, unable and unwilling to be heard. I screamed and screamed until my throat became sore, but no one heard my cries.

Then the scene changed. A light tan stone connected with my sneakers, and a vivid purple house stood in front of me. But a woman stood in front of the house, smiling softly. Strangely, a warm feeling came into my heart. It felt like I knew this women, yet I can't acknowledge it.

Her violet purple hair was beautifully tied back into a bun. A sky blue dress draped across her shoulders and down to her ankles. Gold sandals and gloves encased her hands and feet. A dark blue, tunic like item was strung across her waist, along with a bright purple flower. Her deep purple eyes connected with my Atlantic blue ones.
