NOTE: This will not interfere with any of the story line of Captured. This is still for Mianite S2, but it's a Christmas one shot. Enjoy!
Tucker's POV:
5 AM and I was pacing. Fear shot through me as one single thought filled my mind. It'd be perfect. As of right now it's just a few days before Christmas. Even in my cozy dojo my soft breath could be clearly seen floating in the air. My steel Blood Mage armor didn't help with the surrounding coldness. Shivering, I quickly snatched my backpack and stalked off, going to the first persons house that came to mind.
The moment I stepped outside, the cold air bit my skin and refused to let go. Snow was falling lightly, leaving the ground covered in a pure white blanket. The town was brightly lit as the people just began setting up their shops and starting the day.
Trembling, I sprinted over to one of my closest friends house. He'd hopefully be nice enough to help me with this monumental task.
Once I arrived at the large and stony building, which had frost forming on the orange and purple tinted windows, my boots were encased in snow and my face was bright pink. My freezing hand connected with the equally freezing door and paused.
Groaning and clattering sounded from inside, causing me to take a small step back. Just seconds later, the wooden door swung open, revealing a very tired looking Jordan. He just had a snow white v-neck and coal black sweatpants on. His jet black hair was a mess and dark circles had formed under his eyes.
"T-Tucker?" he asked, rubbing his sea blue eyes. "Why are you at my Fortress at 5 in the morning?" Awkwardly, I wrung my hands together.
"I want to do something." I explained, my breath still coming in misty bursts. Raising an eyebrow, Jordan stepped back and let me into his Fortress.
"Alright, just give me a few minutes to look relatively presentable." Jordan suggested, sluggishly stumbling over to his room and slamming the door shut. My hand pushed the wooden front door closed as I awkwardly sat down on a violet purple couch. Quickly, I slipped off my armor and set it next to my lime green backpack.
After sitting there for a few minutes, Jordan walked into the room, his glasses on, communicator strapped to his wrist, and mostly ready.
"Okay, now what do you want?" he asked, sitting on the grass green couch opposite me. Taking in a large breath, I quickly glanced at my hands then looked back up at him.
Slowly, I explained my idea. The longer and longer I talked, the more and more Jordan's eyes widened. A grin spread across his face.
"It's risky, man," Jordan commented. "And it'll take a lot of planning. Christmas is just in a few days and I don't know about you, but I still need my tree." He looked around at his bland home as his smile fell slightly.
"I understand that's it's risky, but I really want to do this. Do you think we could get Tom and maybe Wag to help as well?"
"Maybe, I'll call them later today when it's not dawn. But you might want to get your house a little festive before you do it. And you'll need the masterpiece." Nodding, I stood up, thanked Jordan for his time, and walked out of his house. I needed to do this.
*2 Days Later*
Christmas Eve. 7 PM. It was almost time. I had been completely ignoring her for the past few days, just getting prepared for this moment tomorrow. Steadily, I skimmed over my checklist I had created. Everything was checked off besides the very last part. I was ready.
Sluggishly, I sent a quick message to everyone in on the plan, asking them if they were ready. In just a matter of minutes, they had responded with positive feedback. Excitement, along with fear, rushed through me.
