Chapter 13
-Sam's POV-
Niall's been in hospital for about a week and a half. He hasn't moved or spoken. The doctors don't know if he can hear or not. If he can't, I must look like a weirdo. I don't care because I just want him back.
I love Niall Horan.
There. I said it. I said I love him. With all my heart. It hurt so much when the doctor said he had said Jade's name last. She hasn't even came to visit. The whole college knows about this. I haven't left his side. I'm sure I look like a wreck. Niall's case is still going. They don't know if they should jail Jordan. I think he should be jailed. Not only because he done this to Niall for Jade or because I love Niall but because he committed a crime. Jordan did own up and say that he was responsible. I hate him so much. Just argh.
"N-Niall, can you hear me?" I whispered as I was right next to his ear. His body didn't shift. I let out a sob as my fingers gently ran over his plastered wounds.
His toned body tensed under my touch. I gasped, swallowing hard.
"Doctor!" I called. A nurse came running in.
"He tensed!" I squealed. She nodded and exited. Moments later, the doctor rushed in. He moved my hand and repeated my actions.
"He can feel and we know he's alive...Miss Styles, we found out that he can hear," The doctor informed. I nodded.
"I'll leave you alone. See if you can say something strong enough for him to move...maybe even open his eyes..." He tapped my shoulder and turned to leave.
"Well that's what happens in movies." He winked before leaving. I giggled a bit before turning back to Niall.
"If you could hear me for all this time, why weren't you responding? I missed you too much. It's torture. While you're gone, I realised something. I..." I stopped, asking myself if I should say it or not. "I love you. I love you, Niall James Horan. I really do. When I heard you said Jade's name before you got into this situation, I was so upset. She hasn't come to visit. I love you. I love you. I love you. Please come back, Niall. I know Harry won't let us be together but I want you to know that I love you. I've said it a lot now but I just want to make sure you know that I love you," I said, finishing with tears as I noticed he wasn't going to budge.
"I love you too..." I heard a quiet but raspy voice mumble. My head shot up, my eyes darting towards Niall, just in time to see his eyes flutter open.
"Finally, you admitted it..." He muttered. I was too happy to listen to his words as I leaped onto him, strangling him in a hug. He let out a throaty chuckle, hugging me back.
"Can you pass me some water, babe?" His voice gave me chills as I let him go. I poured some water out for him and passed the plastic cup to him. He pressed his lips to the cup and drunk it down. Placing the cup to the side, he sat up, slowly. I helped him and grabbed the bed remote, getting it at an angle. I smiled at him as his hand found mine.
"I've got to go and tell the doctor you came back," I whispered as he pulled me into another hug. He sighed, loudly,
"You can do that in a few minutes. I just want some time with you..." His hot breath tickled my neck. I giggled as he connected our lips. After a few moments, someone cleared their throat in the door way. I jumped away from him and landed on my chair.
"Um..hi," Niall said awkwardly. I followed his eyes and found myself looking at the doctor, Harry and Ewan. I shifted, uncomfortably in my seat as Harry shook his head at me. Ewan stifled a laugh and sat next to me as Harry took the seat on the other side of me.
"Oh look, the devil's awake." Harry muttered. I shoved his arm and gave him a warning look.
"Harry," I hissed.
"For the record, that was gross and we're talking about it when you come home." He whispered. I rolled my eyes and looked at Niall. He was staring at me. He caught my eye and gave me a sly wink. I laughed and licked my lip as I watched the doctor ask Niall questions.
There's only one person I need out of the way so I could be with Niall. And that is...
Harry.
