My Brother's Enemy

Chapter 11:

-Niall's POV-

Her name's Jade. The Jade that was at Sam's house that day when we were doing our project. I found out after a lot of help from the school computers and my gang. Being quite proud of myself, I decided I should go out and celebrate. Funnily enough, I remember most of the things that happened last night but I did not know that the girl I came home with was...Jade. Yes, I had sex with Jade. I have to say, she's pretty damn good in bed; but, I couldn't help but feel that I was betraying Sam. I shouldn't feel it. But, I do. Lying here, with Jade, feels so right but so wrong. Half of my heart tells me to stay with Jade and half tells me to go and beg Sam to come back to me. As always, I don't know what to do so I just lay there, thinking.

A groan beside me made me jolt away from my thoughts.

"Niall?" She mumbled, rubbing her eyelids before pinching herself. I chuckled in a whisper and wrapped my arms around her waist, pulling her closer.

"Mhm?" I hummed. Her lips came in contact with mine in a sweet peck.

"Thanks for last night..." She whispered, her plump lips crashing to mine. Our lips moved in sync as my teeth sunk into her bottom lip, softly, asking for entrance. Her lips parted, allowing my tongue to roam around inside her mouth. Jade's hands rested at the nape of my neck as my hips moved against hers, pulling her closer. I smiled against her lips, pulling away slowly. She giggled as I tickled her sides. I grinned,

"Your laugh is so cute," I mumbled. Her cheeks burned as I winked,

"And so is your blush," I whispered. She hid her face in her hands, shaking her head.

"Did you hear? Niall Horan and Jade Simonet slept together!" That's all I was hearing. Everywhere. No lies. School gossip was really getting to me now. Yeah, it's true that we slept together. What's the big deal? I'm Niall Horan. I sleep with girls. It's my thing.

I scanned the canteen for Sam. Spotting her, I jogged over to her table which included her, Liam, Lucy, Jordan, Ewan, Jade, Connor and Cerine. (A/N, Cerine is pronounced S-uh-reen...) My eyes trailed over Jade's body before looking at Sam. She had the most disgusted expression on her face. Jesus, all I did was sleep with her! I thought Sam wanted me to get over here anyway... I shrugged it off and watched as the whole table stated at me.

"Um...one, stop giving me death glares, Jordan. Two, Jade, you look beautiful today," I stopped to wink at her.

"Three, you people are looking at me like I just fed Katy Perry to a shark, Gosh. Four, Sam, our project is due tomorrow!" I continued. Sam rolled her eyes, nodding, telling me she knew that already. My gaze landed on Jordan. If looks could kill, I'd be ten feet under because the look he was giving me was just too deathly. However, Jade was oblivious to the blonde sitting next to her as she waved to me. I waved back, smirking at Jordan. Did I ever tell you that Jordan had a major crush on Jade, years back? No? Well I have now. After saying 'bye' to them, I walked off to the car park, bored. Leaning against my car, I sighed.

Soon, I saw a figure walk towards me. Jade's figure. She smiled, widely as her petite body ran up to me. Her arms wrapped around my neck and her legs around my torso. I laughed, holding the back of her thighs for support.

"Hey, baby." I whispered, turning around so she was sitting on the car hood and I was standing in between her legs. She smirked, biting down on my lip as her forehead leaned to mine.

"Hey," She whispered, seductively. Her left eye dropped in a wink as she let go of my lower lip.

"Why was your whole table giving me the ultimate disgusted face?" I asked, mumbling. She shrugged, resting her hands on my chest.

"They're just jealous that I get to have you in bed," She winked again as I laughed. The corners of my lips tugged up into a smirk as a few words flew out of my mouth.

"Wanna bunk?" I asked. She nodded,

"I don't enjoy Maths anyway." I laughed at her before helping her down and opening the door for her. When I closed the door, I couldn't help but remember mine and Sam's first date. I pushed it aside and hopped into the drivers seat. Knowing where I was going to take Jade, I began to drive and ignored her desperate pleads, asking me where we were going. I shook my head,

"If I were you, I'd stop trying because you're not gonna find out until we get there."

"Yeah, but, we're driving towards the forest, how do I know you're not gonna rape me?" She raised an eyebrow.

"You can spray me with deodorant and I'll probably let you go!" I laughed, stopping outside the forest. She stayed silent and followed me, dodging all the trees. Once we got to the cabin, I smiled.

"We're here!"

She looked at me, disbelief written all over her face.

"You own this place?" I nodded. She gasped,

"Whoa. Can we go in?" I nodded again and was about to lead her inside when I heard rustling from behind us. I looked at Jade, my eyes asking if she heard that. She nodded. My body slowly turned around. When I had turned a full 180°, I felt a fist collide with my stomach as I stumbled back to the steps of the cottage.

"Niall!" Jade shrieked. I rubbed my stomach and looked up, only to find Jordan.

He hadn't come alone, though.

He had a knife.

A knife that could take out my life in a second.

"Jade, go inside..." She obeyed my words and ran in, tripping at one point. I rolled my sleeves up, getting to my feet.

"What'd you want, Anderson?" I sneered, using his last name. He scoffed, holding the knife up and playing with it, with his hands like it was a toy.

"Careful with your words, Horan," He smirked, his fingers sliding across the surface of the silver blade. I rolled my eyes, looking behind him to see if he had people with him. Nope.

"Your actions could cost you your life, y'know..." His blue eyes looked at me as he rose an eyebrow, challenging me to a fight.

"Jordan, what'd you want?" I muttered. He cackled,

"Jade," He stated. "But she's so under your 'charm' that she doesn't realise that I'm all she needs!" He shouted, trying to stab the dagger into me. I let out a frustrated yell, dodging all his attempts.

"Your aim isn't the best, is it?" I smirked, taking a step closer. He dropped the deadly dagger and whipped out a gun, pointing it directly at me.

"We'll see about that," He scoffed, pressing down on the gun and releasing the bullet. He got what he had wanted. A practically dying Niall, lying on the floor. I was still alive, just had my eyes closed. The door of the cottage slammed shut and I heard Jade and Jordan's run away as the leaves crunched below their shoes. The last thing I heard was a voice, calling my name and trying to shake me awake. I'd recognise that voice anywhere.
