Next Time, Sorry
I'm not sure if I'm sorry
I'm not sure if I'm sad
I'm probably going insane
Because the world is just simply the place to blame
The time that you lied
Stabbed me right back
You covered up your truths with darkness
But soon after you revealed that what was said was true
I still can't believe that I trusted you
With everything we've been through
Through the ups and the downs
You just can't help but put a frown upon my face
Simply a disgrace
Something the no one wanted to see
Or hear
Or believe
How dare you betray me
So I'm sorry for this
Sorry for that
Sorry for the shit that came out of your lips
Because after all you called me a friend
But yet your apologies were empty
But yet you avoided reality
And I'm here
Writing this poem
As time ticks by
I feel like everything is going to collapse
Like everyone is looking back
And not realising the fault we've come upon
But yet you still deny everything
When everyone has seen everything
So please tell the truth next time
Because next time
I won't be saying sorry

PoetryI like to write poems sometimes; some don't rhyme at all. Just like my stories, they are just random ideas that come to mind. I've been into slam poetry lately, so these may sound a lot like a slam poem instead.
