Right or Wrong
She never knew the difference between the two
Growing up this way
Confusion flooding her mind
She viewed the world in a way her parents displayed
Terrifying
The lights went out
She was never taught
Right from wrong
Wrong or right
It kept her up all day and night
Despite the lack of sleep and her tired mind
She continued with her day
Right or wrong
Right or wrong
It’s a scary place that she didn’t know
Her friends couldn’t lead her way to go
So she distanced herself from inside her head
And let her mind wonder into oblivion
The silence was deafening
Nothing ever taught her
Right or wrong
The ground stayed green
The sky was black
Oceans remained blue
But her wrists were red
No one ever told her
Right or wrong
