While the Enemy Continues Their Reign
I hate seeing good friends die while the enemy continues their reign
The moment they walk away
That is the death of them
The endless memories and those small moments where you thought they meant something to you
But its not like that
The world is a cruel place with nothing more than hatred and utter bullshit
Those silent lies that never left their lips became their actions
You see, the moment that mask falls off, its game over
Everything just ends
Like the flick of a switch
It all goes dark
Like a thunderstorm after a seemingly perfect day
Although they do say that there is a rainbow after a little rain
But what if you never meet that rainbow?
What if you couldn't cope with the dark clouds that drained you of your tears?
Or even the roars of the thunder ringing in your ears?
What would happen if you could never over come that?
Because that's exactly what it feels like to see good friends die while the enemy continues their reign.

PoesieI like to write poems sometimes; some don't rhyme at all. Just like my stories, they are just random ideas that come to mind. I've been into slam poetry lately, so these may sound a lot like a slam poem instead.
