Such a small number that fits right upon the fingers on my hand

Such a small number in comparison to 20, 30, 40, 50

Ten seconds compared to ten minutes

Ten hours

Ten days

Ten weeks

Ten months

But to believe that ten years ago I was only six years old

I would've been in first grade

Started learning multiplication

Didn't realise that the alphabet would be soon mixed with those equations only a few years later

Not realising that dreams would soon be far from reality

But after all I was only six years old

Then we add one

It becomes seven

Seven years old, compare that to seventh grade.

Growing up became a little more terrifying

But reality just hadn't quite smacked me across the face yet

New school, new faces, new names, so many more new people... Guess it was time for a new me right?

In seventh grade, I was twelve years old with a lot of thoughts planted in my mind

Hoping to share my dreams and infinite ideas

Wishing for everything to run smoothly for the bumpy road ahead

Don't worry. By the end of the next five years you'll be off to University studying anything you ever wished for. Getting the job you always ever wanted.
