We can kiss the stars hello as we watch the sunset drift from the gap between the curtains
I let out a breath
I've never felt so comfortable before
Never knew how much you could miss someone before
How you can crave their warmth
Wishing for their fingers to be interlocked with yours
How you feel empty without their hugs
Their non-existent kisses
How can you miss a feeling you've never felt before
Pull me close please love
This distance drives me insane
How much you want to see their smile
Hear their laugh
Dumb jokes and silly conversations
Watching the sunset disappear beyond the sea
We can see the city lights glistening in the night
The stars are hiding away in the dark
But that's okay love.
Because...
You shine brighter than the stars.

I don't want to sleep
I fear that you'll no longer be here in the morning.
Please don't let this be a dream.
When the sun comes up
Will I be able to wake up next to you?
Will I be able to say...
"Good morning! I love you."
