Camelia sighed waking up in Cristiano's bed alone, it had been like this since the capital had fallen and she barely saw him anymore; she ran her fingers through her hair knowing that she still hadn't told him about their son.

It almost didn't seem real that she was here with Cristiano and yet she knew that there was no way that it could last, he was married and he would have to return to his wife.

Camelia didn't know what would happen to her, she feared that this could only end in tears and she hoped that things weren't going to end badly for her like they had last time.

Shaking her head, Camelia blinked surprised as Cristiano stepped back into the tent wearing his armour; he didn't look at Camelia while he collected the things that he would need for the trip.

"I'll be gone most of the day, we're heading out to S'Arenal," Cristiano informed her, it would be the last piece that he would need before the island completely fell, he wanted to get all this sorted out so that he could focus on what was important to him.

He had yet to reach a decision on what he was going to do about Camelia, Cristiano was determined not to leave her behind and yet he knew that his wife wasn't just going to accept this.

"Cris," Camelia whispered as terror filled her, she wrapped a sheet around her as she climbed out of the bed knowing that she had to tell him now; she couldn't imagine what would happen if she didn't.

The last thing that Camelia wanted was for anything to happen to Junior, she cursed herself knowing that she should have told him sooner; she wanted nothing more than for things to work out for them.

"I'll be back late... so don't wait up," Cristiano insisted, he didn't know when he would be back but he hoped that S'Arenal was going to be easy to take unlike Palma had been; he wanted this sorted out as quickly as possible.

Camelia took a breath, she had no idea how she was going to tell him this but she knew that she couldn't leave it now; she watched as he prepared to leave knowing that he had never known she was pregnant.

"We have a son," Camelia blurted out, she watched him knowing that this certainly hadn't been how she wanted to tell him but there were no other options open to her.

Cristiano slowly turned to stare at Camelia, her words ringing in his ears and he almost hoped that she was joking right now; he swallowed not knowing what to say to her.

"I was pregnant when I was brought back to Palma," Camelia revealed hoping that he believed her, she felt so nervous and this could all end in tears; her hands shook a little and she prayed knowing that he had every reason not to.

Cristiano opened and closed his mouth not sure what to make of this, he had never imagined that Camelia had been pregnant when she had been taken from him; he couldn't imagine how her parents and husband had taken the news.

"He's in S'Arenal, he lives with my cousins," Camelia continued not knowing what Cristiano was thinking, she chewed on her lip knowing that she should have told him sooner.

It was silent in the tent for a moment and Camelia couldn't help but feel sick, she had no idea what he was thinking and she feared what he would do now.

Cristiano didn't say a word, he couldn't believe that he had a son and he saw no reason for Camelia to lie about something like that; he grabbed his things and moved to leave the tent knowing that he couldn't let his men wait any longer.

"Cris?" Camelia whispered when he didn't say anything to her, her heart pounded in her chest and she knew that she would have to wait until he returned to find out what he was thinking about her news.

A smile formed on his face as he ran around the farm where he had grown up, Junior was a little disappointed that his mother hadn't come and seen him like she had promised but his aunt had promised that she would soon.

It was hard never really seeing his mother; he had never been to her house only knowing that her husband hated him because he was the son of another man.

Pausing at the sight of the front door open, Junior paused knowing that his aunt had always insisted that it remained closed; he frowned knowing that something wasn't right.

Looking around and not seeing any signs of anyone, Junior slowly walked towards the door and headed into the farm house; he was quiet as he closed the door behind him and slowly moved to find his aunt.

"Auntie?" Junior called softly, it was so quiet in the house and he didn't like it; his aunt was always singing and he knew that she hated the quiet as much as he did.

Stepping into the living room, Junior stopped at the sight of his aunt sleeping on the floor with some strange man standing over her; the man was dressed in black and looked pleased with himself.

"Who are you?" Junior asked staring at the man, he had no idea what was going on or why his aunt was sleeping on the floor but he was sure his uncle would be home soon.

The man slowly turned to look at the little boy, he had to pause for a moment not being able to believe how much Junior looked like his father; it made anger boil in his blood that he was the permanent reminder that his wife had loved another.

"You even look like him," Ricardo spat disgusted, he was glad the bastard had never been allowed near his home; he would have drowned him if he hadn't been useful in keeping Camelia under control.

Junior backed away from the man, he knew his mother had always said that he looked like his father and for someone else to say that to him didn't feel right.

Turning on his heel, Junior ran from the man knowing that he didn't like him and he was sure that his auntie wouldn't have let a stranger into their home; he rushed to get away from the man.

However, he didn't make it far before Ricardo grabbed onto the back of his jumper, he pulled the small boy back to him knowing that he would make Camelia suffer for betraying him like she had.

Junior kicked and punched trying to get away from the man that was holding him, he didn't know who he was but he had a horrible feeling what he wanted from him.

Pulling out a knife, Ricardo smiled down at the bastard and he couldn't wait to send Camelia her son's head; he would come for her when the time was right but first she would have to face losing her son.

Junior started to cry, he struggled against the hold that Ricardo had on him and couldn't help but start screaming for his mother; he didn't like this and he didn't know why the stranger had come here.

Smirking as he prepared to slit Junior's throat, he raised the blade above his head and before he could lower it to complete his revenge he stopped completely.

Tears blinded Junior's eyes as he felt Ricardo's hold on him loosen and he stumbled back away from the man before he heard a very strange noise coming from him.

Junior sniffled as Ricardo slumped to the floor, the man didn't move and he couldn't help but stare at him; he wiped his face furiously before a hand grabbed his shoulder.

Jumping in fright at someone touching him, Junior looked up at the man that was stood next to him; he snuffled staring for a moment, the man looked like a much taller version of him.

"Let's get you back to your mãe," Cristiano murmured ducking down and picking Junior up, he was relieved that he didn't fight him; he didn't even glance at Ricardo's body.
