"Are you sure that we need to be here?" Cristiano murmured looking at Catalina, he didn't understand why they'd had to come to this banquet when she was a week away from having their baby.
It didn't make any sense to Cristiano and he would much rather be at home with Camelia, he knew that she could give birth at any moment; he hated that he had to be here with Catalina instead of her.
Catalina rolled her eyes, she was sort of hopeful that Camelia would go into labour and Cristiano would miss it; she didn't want him there with the other woman when she had her bastard.
"Of course. Networking is always good," Catalina replied resting a hand on her bump, her son was due in the next week and she prayed that he didn't look like his father; it would be a dead sign that he wasn't Cristiano's son.
Even if the two men were brothers, Catalina didn't want to take any chances when she was close to getting what she wanted; she just had to hope that she was able to get rid of Camelia and her bastards before it was too late.
Cristiano rolled his eyes annoyed, he didn't see why they had to be here and he knew that it was because she didn't want him around Camelia when she was so close to giving birth.
Trying not to look bored as he greeted people, Cristiano wished that they could just go home and that he could relax before both of his sons were born.
Spotting Jorge hurrying over to them, Catalina gripped onto Cristiano's arm knowing that there was only one reason that he would want to speak with them now.
Cristiano looked to his assistant, his stomach turning a little at the look on Jorge's face; he had asked him to come and get him if there were any signs of Camelia going into labour.
"Camelia's gone into labour," Jorge murmured knowing that there was no way his friend wanted to miss the birth of his second child with the woman he loved.

"You're doing well Camelia," Matias reassured her, it hadn't been long since Camelia's water broke and he was pleased with the progress that she had made; he had no doubts that the baby boy would be born in the next few hours.
This labour would move a lot quicker than Camelia's first and Matias was going to be here every step of the way; he was almost surprised that Cristiano wasn't here yet since Catalina had made sure that he had little time with Camelia recently.
Camelia nodded her head, it felt different to when she was having Junior and she was sort of relieved about that; she had been stuffed into a back bedroom and the midwife hadn't been called until the last moment when the head was crowning.
It wasn't an experience that Camelia ever wanted to repeat and she was glad that she had never fallen pregnant to Ricardo; he would have only made her life a living nightmare.
Opening his mouth to say something, Matias stopped when he heard talking outside of the bedroom door before Cristiano entered with the maids trying to get him to stop; he was still dressed up from the party that he had been at.
"Are you okay?" Cristiano asked taking Camelia's hands and pressing a kiss to them, his brown eyes searched her face and he was glad to see that he had made it in time to see his baby being born.
Camelia nodded her head, she offered him a small smile surprised that he was here right now; she had expected Catalina to try everything to keep him away from here while his son was being born.
Shrugging off his suit jacket, Cristiano sat down next to Camelia knowing nothing would take him from her right now; he had no intentions on missing the birth of their second son.

Cristiano whispered softly to the newborn that lay in his arms, he couldn't believe that he was finally here and he knew that there was nothing that he wouldn't do for him; it made Cristiano smile that he sort of looked like him.
Camelia was being helped by her two maids change out of her dirty clothes and into the grey lace inset nightdress that was ready for her; she was exhausted and Cristiano didn't blame her for being so quiet.
"What should we call him?" Cristiano asked once Camelia was settled back into the clean bed, he paid no attention to the maids as they hurried out of the bedroom.
Camelia swallowed watching him with their son, she was terrified that he would stare at the baby for too long and realise what had happened between her and Hugo.
Cristiano had been holding the little boy for a while now and Camelia still didn't know what to say to him, she had cried when the baby had been born and she was just relieved that Cristiano had thought that they were tears of happiness.
"I don't know," Camelia murmured tiredly leaning back against the pillows, she had yet to hold her son and she was a little nervous about what she would see when she did hold him.
Cristiano smiled walking over to her and gently passing her their son, he sat down next to Camelia watching her with him; he was so happy that he had got to be here for the birth.
Staring down at her newborn son, Camelia felt a wave of relief flush through her when she noticed that the newborn looked so much like Junior had when he had been born.
"He looks like you," Camelia mused praying this was a good sign to who the father was, she just wanted things to be simple for them; she cuddled the newborn close promising herself that she would keep him and his brother safe.
Cristiano nodded his head proudly, he couldn't have been happier right now and he knew that their six-year-old would be dying to meet his new baby brother; he just hoped that Junior would be okay with sharing his mother.
"What about Mateo?" Cristiano suggested softly, he gently took the newborn's hands and allowed him to wrap his fingers around his; he couldn't believe that this had happened.
It made Cristiano even happier that Camelia had given birth before Catalina had, he wasn't exactly looking forward to the birth of his third child.
Catalina had been nothing short of a nightmare in the last nine months and Cristiano couldn't help but feel like she was being deliberately awkward to cause him problems and maybe to even hide something from him.
"Mateo Falco Aveiro," Camelia mused with a small smile, she liked the name and she knew that it was the least she could do for Cristiano.
The couple enjoyed a quiet moment with Mateo before the bedroom door opened and Matias walked inside, he flashed them a smile trying to hide how nervous that he felt right now.
"I need to do a couple of things to register the baby," Matias said knowing that he had to take a sample of DNA so that they could find out who the real father was.
Cristiano sighed and nodded his head, he wouldn't be able to stay long and he regretted that; he would have to get back to Catalina but right now he wanted to be here with Camelia, Junior and Mateo.
Matias carefully took Mateo from Camelia and moved away from the parents so he could take a sample without raising any questions from Cristiano; it would take a couple of days to get the results.
Ducking down Cristiano kissed Camelia, he couldn't have been happier and he was sure once Catalina had given birth that he would be able to spend more time with her and the children.
