Staring down curious at his baby brother, Junior couldn't help but be amazed by him and he couldn't wait for them to be able to play together; he smiled gently reached down to hold Mateo's hand.

It was strange to think this little person was his baby brother but his parents seemed so happy even if Cristiano was busy right now; Junior wrinkled his nose thinking about his half-brother who was due in a matter of days.

Junior didn't know why his father still spent so much time with Catalina when it was clear that he was happier with his mother and them; he knew the other woman hated him and his baby brother for some reason.

Camelia had tried to explain to him about why Cristiano couldn't come and live with them but Junior still didn't understand it, he was sure that they would be all happier if he came to live with them permanently.

"Junior. Your tutor is here," Camelia called softly, she stepped into the nursery and sighed watching him with Mateo; she was glad that Junior seemed to adore his baby brother.

It had been a strange couple of days and Cristiano was visiting when he could, Camelia knew that Catalina was doing her best to keep him away from them.

Pouting Junior turned to look at his mother, he wanted to spend more time watching his baby brother sleep but he knew that there was no way that Camelia was going to change her mind.

His education was important and Camelia wanted him to stick with it for as long as he could, she wanted him to do well since she knew that it wouldn't last forever.

Padding out of the room, Junior hurried to get to his lesson knowing that the sooner he was done the sooner he could come back and spend time with Mateo; he liked spending time with his new brother.

Camelia sighed watching him go before she walked over to the crib, she smiled down at Mateo before carefully moving to cover him up so that he was warm and comfortable.

Hearing someone enter the nursery, Camelia slowly turned to see Matias behind her and she felt sick; she knew that this meant that he had the results and she didn't know if she was ready for that.

"You have the results?" Camelia asked carefully, she peeked down at Mateo knowing that they needed to know; she wasn't sure what she would do if Hugo was the father but she knew she wasn't going to be able to lie to Cristiano if he wasn't his son but his brother's.

Matias nodded his head and closed the door behind him, he didn't want anyone overhearing this talk; he took the results from his pocket and passed them to Camelia knowing that she needed to know the truth.

"We couldn't have hoped for a better result," Matias said watching Camelia as she slowly opened the results, he smiled at her knowing that this was one less thing for her to worry about.

Matias didn't know what was going to happen when Catalina had her son but he knew the other woman would want Camelia and her two sons gone; they were threats to her son's inheritance and things could get worse for them.

"Cristiano is Mateo's pai," Camelia breathed in relief, tears filled her eyes in relief to the fact that there was nothing linking her to Hugo; she was free of him and she was able to relax now that he had no control over her.

It felt like a horrible weight had been lifted from her shoulders and Camelia knew that it was the news that she had been hoping for; she just knew that Hugo would have found a way to make her life hell if she didn't know.

Slipping the results into her pocket, Camelia nodded to Matias knowing that she could finally put what had happened behind her; she would stick them in a safe place not having to worry anymore.

"I want to feed him," Junior pouted watching Camelia feed Mateo, he wanted to help out as much as he could and he hated that his parents stopped him from helping when it came to his baby brother.

Camelia sighed shifting her hold on Mateo, she knew that he wanted to help but he was a little young and she knew that it was important that she had this time to bond with Mateo.

"You have to eat your own dinner," Cristiano said brushing his fingers through Junior's hair, he loved having dinner with his family and he knew that it was the one time they could all relax together.

Catalina had dismissed him for the evening and Cristiano was sort of glad for that, she had no need for him tonight; he loved spending time here with Camelia and their sons.

Documents had already been drawn up and signed that meant that when Cristiano passed that his sons to Camelia couldn't be thrown out onto the streets and lose everything; he wanted the best for all his children no matter who they were born to.

Junior sulked messing with his food making Cristiano sigh, he shook his head before turning his attention back to Camelia and Mateo; he smiled softly knowing that this is how they should have been.

Cristiano doubted that he would ever forgive the people that had taken Camelia and Junior from him; he knew that there were things he still didn't know but he was focusing on the family that they had together.

"I have to go to a meeting, so I'll be staying at the main house tonight," Cristiano murmured hating that he was being called away but it was important, he was a general and it looked like there was more fighting to be done for the empire.

Stepping into her bedroom, Camelia closed the door behind her and sighed glad that the boys had gone to sleep after Cristiano had headed out; she knew that if he could stay here with them that he would.

Before Camelia could take another step, she was grabbed from behind; a hand clapping over her mouth as the person made sure she couldn't slip away or attract any help.

Camelia struggled against the hold that the man had on her, she couldn't get him to let her go and she feared that this was going to be a repeat as last time; she felt her heart pounding in her chest as she was slammed into wall.

Her head ached and it left her stunned as the man wrestled her to the floor and pinned her hands above her head; his legs pinned her legs down knowing that this would certainly teach her a lesson.

"Well isn't this a surprise," Hugo purred surprised that Camelia hadn't seen this coming, he had been waiting for his idiot of a brother to leave and he was disappointed to see how attached Cristiano was.

Camelia glared up at Hugo, she couldn't believe that he had dared come back here after what he had done; she struggled against his hold knowing that she had to do something.

"How is my bastard?" Hugo mused not caring to remember the child's name, the only one that he cared about was the one that he had with Catalina; that child was the key to getting everything that he ever wanted.

The child that Catalina carried would officially be Cristiano's heir and the key to Hugo stealing everything that his brother had.

"He isn't yours and never will be," Camelia spat glaring at Hugo, she felt pride knowing that her words were true and she couldn't believe that he thought he could scare her now.

Camelia saw Hugo for what he was and she wondered if Cristiano realised what sort of man his brother was; she doubted that he would ever forgive him for this.

Hugo didn't say a word knowing that he was going to make sure that Camelia was so scared of him that she would never tell Cristiano the truth.
