Gritting her teeth, Catalina held back a cry of pain as another contraction ripped through her body; there was no way in hell that she was going to do this again, she would never let anyone put her through this pain.

The midwife had told her that things were moving along well and Catalina had wanted to strangle the woman; she wanted this to be over with and the last few hours had been a nightmare.

Cristiano was outside of the bedroom and Catalina had refused to allow him to be in the bedroom while she gave birth to their son; she couldn't believe that he was actually starting with her.

It did please Catalina that Cristiano hadn't been able to go and see Camelia or her bastards since he was so busy making sure that everything was perfect for their baby.

His actions made Catalina almost feel guilty for cheating on him with Hugo, she wasn't going to let that get her down and right now she was focusing on the fact that she had something coming out of her.

Hugo was also lingering about, he was playing the role of the concerned brother and future uncle which only made Catalina smile; she knew that he was really only interested in seeing the child that he had fathered.

Catalina wondered how Lilian and the children would ever react if they were to find out that her baby was their half-brother; she doubted that Lilian would react well to the news.

It had never made sense to Catalina why Hugo had married his wife, she was as boring as watching paint dry and she didn't blame him for finding attention outside of his marriage.

Catalina wasn't the only woman in Hugo's life and she wondered if Lilian even knew that her husband had other women waiting on him like she didn't do.

Sipping on his water, Cristiano peeked towards the bedroom door unable to stop from bouncing his knee; his stomach twisted and turned making him more nervous than when Mateo had been born.

It had been a long day and Cristiano couldn't wait to hold the baby in his arms, he just hoped that the little boy would get along with his older half-brothers; he didn't want any of his children feeling pushed out.

"You must be excited," Hugo said sitting down next to Cristiano, he had kept his own emotions in check about this birth and he knew that there was no way Cristiano knew that the baby wasn't his.

It had been a rough road but things would work out and Hugo was sure the birth of this child would mean that Cristiano would be too distracted to go and see Camelia.

Thinking about the blonde made Hugo smile, she had been a mess when he had left her and he doubted that she was in any state to breathe his secret now.

The situation was made even better by the fact that Cristiano had no idea what had happened, he had been so busy with Catalina that he hadn't had the chance to see Camelia at all.

"It'll be a welcome addition," Cristiano replied knowing that he would never do this again, any other children that he had would be by Camelia; it didn't feel right that he was going to have a child with Catalina.

It was a promise that Cristiano would make when he saw his mistress again, he hated thinking of her that way but that was how the world saw her.

This would mean that Catalina's father had gotten what he wanted, there was an heir to his work now and Cristiano knew that it wouldn't change a thing.

Hugo nodded his head and opened his mouth to say something, he stopped when the bedroom door opened and the midwife stepped out with a large smile on her face.

The two men stared at her, both anxious to hear how the birth had gone and to know what was going on in that room.

"Congratulations General Ronaldo," the midwife said pleased with how everything had gone, she couldn't have asked for a better first delivery even if Catalina swore that it would never happen again.

The midwife was sure that in a couple of years, Catalina would want to give her baby boy a brother or sister; she knew the child had half-brothers but it would never be the same.

"It's a healthy baby boy," the midwife informed the new father, she smiled watching him knowing that the child was a very lucky one; she couldn't believe that it had been a nineteen-hour labour.

Catalina had insisted that Cristiano not be in the room and the midwife had dismissed it as the woman being old fashioned; she was sure that Cristiano would have been there if he had been asked.

"What did she name him?" Hugo asked getting ahead of himself, he ignored the look that the midwife shot him while Cristiano moved to get to his feet; he hadn't really discussed names for the child that had been born.

Cristiano ran a hand through his hair, he really hoped that Catalina hadn't called the little boy after him; he already had Junior and he knew it was something that Catalina had considered.

"Hugh Gomez Aveiro," the midwife confirmed wondering why the new mother had called her newborn after his uncle instead of his father; it was very strange indeed.

Hugo looked at his brother in panic, he had no idea what Catalina had been thinking but it wouldn't take much for Cristiano to start piecing things together about why she might have done that.

Matias sighed closing the bedroom door and shaking his head, the news was everywhere that Catalina had welcomed a son into the world; he couldn't believe how fast it had happened and he guessed it was going to be everywhere for a while.

Shaking his head, Matias focused on the unconscious Camelia knowing that she was going to be upset when she woke up; he had sedated her to calm her down after Hugo's attack.

The other man had done some serious damage this time, he had broken her ribs and her face was black and blue; Matias didn't even want to think of the internal damage that Hugo had done to her.

Camelia had lost a lot of blood and Matias had no idea how he would possibly break the news that he had to tell Camelia; the damage from the assault had been bad and the stitches to her private area had been quite extensive.

"What are you going to do?" Natasha asked from her place at Camelia's side, she was here most of the time with her lady while Joanna was with the children making sure they were okay.

Hugo was a monster and now that they knew it had been him, they couldn't allow him to do this for a third time; he would surely kill Camelia if he got that chance.

atias watched Camelia sleeping, he had no idea what was going to happen but he knew that there was only one thing that he could do; he just had to wait for the right moment.

"I'm going to tell Cristiano what happened," Matias said running a hand through his hair, he would tell the general the next time that he saw him what his own brother had done.

There would be no escaping for Hugo this time and Matias could only pray that things didn't spiral out of control; he could only imagine what lies the man would tell to escape Cristiano's wrath.

Natasha nodded her head, she looked to Camelia knowing that she would be avenged when Cristiano finally knew what sort of man his older brother was and it wasn't going to be pretty for Hugo or anyone else that had helped him.
