"Last night was fun," Catalina purred watching Cristiano climb out of bed, she had enjoyed having him to herself since his talk with her father; he had been such a good husband to her since he knew what was going to happen if he wasn't.
Catalina couldn't help but smile knowing that Cristiano would lose Camelia and Junior if he didn't do what her father wanted; they would face a fate worse than death if she wasn't pregnant in six months' time.
Watching Cristiano, Catalina couldn't help but wonder what he would have done if they weren't married in a political marriage; she was sure he would have ended their marriage to be with his precious Camelia.
It made Catalina smile knowing that there was no way that Cristiano could get rid of her, she was his wife and no one would be able to change that; they were linked together until death do them apart.
There would be consequences if Cristiano tried to leave her, he knew that and Catalina was taking advantage of the fact that he was stuck with her.
"I have work to do," Cristiano muttered before getting to his feet and walking out of the room, he didn't want to spend any more time with Catalina; he knew already that she'd left marks all over him and there was no way that he would be able to see Camelia like this.
The last thing that Cristiano wanted was to hurt Camelia, his marriage was a sore subject with them and he didn't want to hurt her any more than needed.
Catalina watched him leave before moving to get a small vial out of the draw on her side of the bed, she quickly unscrewed the lid and swallowed down the liquid; she sighed to herself before moving to climb out of bed.
It was just the insurance that Catalina needed to keep Cristiano tied to her side, if he was trying to get her pregnant then there was no way he could be with Camelia.

Sipping on her bottle of water, Camelia smiled stepping out into the garden and taking a deep breath; she fanned herself at the heat glad that things were so calm right now and she had some time to herself.
Junior was with his tutor much to his annoyance since he wanted to be playing football with the other children; it would have to wait until later when his lessons were finished.
Moving to settle in the shade, Camelia smiled finding her book already set in place and she curled up preparing to spend the morning reading until lunch which she would enjoy with Junior.
"So you're Camelia," a voice said making the blonde jump, she looked up quickly and stared at the woman that was standing before her; she certainly hadn't been there when she had come outside.
Setting down her book, Camelia eyed the woman taking in the expensive satin and lace dress that she was wearing; there was no doubt in her mind who she was.
"You must be Catalina," Camelia replied carefully, she had no idea why she had come here to see her; it wasn't like she was in sight of the main house or in her path, she had come here for a reason.
The two women stared at one another trying to work out what to make of the other, they were the two women in Cristiano's life and it was clearly going to be a problem.
"You're not what I expected," Catalina mused wrinkling her nose at the woven vest with embellishment and linen mix shorts that Camelia was wearing; it certainly didn't suit someone who was linked to a man of power like Cristiano.
Camelia tried not to let the words hurt, she knew why Catalina had come and she wasn't going to let the woman get under her skin; she was being petty and it didn't bother Camelia.
There were no doubts in Camelia's mind that Cristiano loved her, if it wasn't for his marriage to Catalina then there was nothing that would have stopped them from getting married.
"I expected someone a bit more like me," Catalina mused holding back a smile, she fanned herself knowing that putting doubts in Camelia's mind would work best for her; no one would tell Cristiano that she had been here.
It had been made clear to her that Cristiano wanted to keep her away from Camelia and Junior, he wanted his lives with them to be separate and that he would choose Camelia over Catalina in a heartbeat.
Camelia only raised an eyebrow, she wasn't going to take the bait and she guessed that Catalina was pretty insecure with her marriage if she had come here to upset her.
It made her wonder if Cristiano knew how worried Catalina was for her marriage to him, Camelia wondered for a moment if she did truly care about Cristiano or if it was all an act.
"I am sure Cristiano will be down to see you once we are finished trying for a baby," Catalina mused with a smile, she couldn't help but rub it in that she was spending her nights screwing Cristiano so that they could have a baby of their own.
Her child would be the one that mattered in the end, the one that would inherit everything when Cristiano died and the one that people would fuss and coo over when they saw him.
"Of course," Camelia replied politely, she tried to hold back the hurt knowing that Cristiano had no choose; he wouldn't tell her what had been said but she knew things were at stake if Catalina didn't end up with child soon.
Catalina was a very beautiful woman and there was no denying that, it made Camelia wonder why Cristiano hadn't fallen for his wife when she hadn't been around for him; she couldn't shake the feeling there was something missing.
"I am sure he will enjoy sharing the news with our son," Camelia mused not able to stop herself from rubbing in the fact that she had beaten her into giving Cristiano his first son.

"I hate her," Catalina spat pacing around her bedroom, she only had her dressing gown wrapped around her and she had no idea where Cristiano was; she was just glad that she had some time to herself.
It had been a while since her and Camelia had talked and she hadn't been able to calm herself down, Catalina doubted that things were going to be simple but she did know that she wasn't going to let Camelia get away with this.
"Relax amor," Hugo mused climbing out of bed and wrapping his arms around her, he kissed her neck glad that he had her to himself before his brother came home.
It had been days since he'd been able to spend time with his lover, Hugo was impressed that Cristiano had never worked out what was going on behind his back.
They'd been doing this since before Catalina had become Cristiano's wife and Hugo had done everything to make sure that she was happy; he couldn't imagine what his brother would do if he found out about them and what they had been doing.
Catalina sighed relaxing back into Hugo's arms, her husband was a fool and she couldn't understand why he had never been able to love her; that was why she had turned to Hugo when he had refused to even care for her.
"Tell me what I can do to make you happier," Hugo murmured knowing that they didn't have long, he didn't want to risk Cristiano coming home and catching them together.
There was no way that Cristiano would take that well and Hugo had so much to lose for being with Catalina like this.
The brunette smiled before she turned to face Hugo, she had just the thing to knock Camelia off her high horse and push Cristiano away.
