Fabians POV

Finally! These holidays felt like they were going on forever. Days, weeks & months of sitting at home, in front of the recording system recording songs that no one would ever listen to.

I waved goodbye to my driver as he drove away with a blank expression on his face.  

As I slowly made my way over to the house, I looked around for someone I knew. Taking my time, I walked my way over to Anubis house hoping Nina or somebody else was there. From the corner of my eye, I saw Patricia sitting on the brick fence alone.  

I walked over to her to see that she had a not so "Patricia-like" expression on her face.

"Uh hey, Patricia. Everything okay?" 

She turned around so fast as if she was hoping for someone else to be here rather than myself. 'Someone' else as in Eddie.

"Eddie?! Oh. Fabian. Hi."

"You mistakened me for Eddie? We don't even sound alike. Remotely alike actually" 

She shrugged.  

"Everything alright Patricia? You don't seem .. Like yourself."

"Yeah .. yeah .. everything's .. Alright. Why wouldn't it be alright."

"Um .. You're sitting here. All alone. By yourself. On a brick fence. While most likely, everyone else is inside"

"Ugh. Can't a girl sit outside, all alone, by herself, on a brick fence anymore?"

"No it's just tha-"

"No, Fabian. Please. I just want to be alone. I think Nina is inside waiting for you anyway."

There was absolutely no way I was going to get anything out of her.  

So I quietly walked away from her accepting the fact that Nina was inside. My heart started racing. And I felt my cheeks burning up.  

I couldn't go to America with her because of financial issues. We've been emailing and texting each other over the break but it's not the same as finally meeting her in person after weeks and weeks of not seeing her.

I slowly opened the door.  

"Hello?"

"Oh hi Fabes. You took your time coming here ahah."

"Joy! Ahha. Well, there was traffic. A lot of traffic to be honest."

We hugged for about three seconds until I saw someone standing at the doorway leading to the living room.

"NINA!"  

Joy turned around and looked at Nina and back at me. She smiled.  

She backed away from me and turned to Nina.

"He's all yours."

She made her way up the stairs motioning me to go to her.

"So."

"Nina. That was nothing. I swear it. We're just friends."

"I know. I believe you."  She said as she came to me and wrapped her hands around my neck while I did the same but around her neck.

"Miss me?"

"More than you can imagine ... my chosen .. One"

As she leaned in about to press her soft, gentle lips against mine, Alfie walked in with a cupcake in one hand and an apple in the other.
