Chapter 7

"ALLIE. TELL ME ALL ABOUT IT!" My friend Kayla shouted over FaceTime.

"Dude. They're so cool! They're so funny and nice and talented and-"

"AND HOT!" She interrupted.

"Yes yes, that too," I laughed,"but I didn't tell you I went out to lunch with some of them!"

"I know. Chaz posted about it on Instagram." Wait really? "Go look at it. It's so cute!"

"I pulled up the picture seeing the post. It was a candid of me and Ben laughing, Sky biting his burger, and Josh making a guy face clearly in the middle of a joke.

"Aww! I love this. We didn't even realize he was taking this."

"Well it's totes adorbs. And look at how Ben is looking at you!"

I looked at the picture again. She was right. He was looking at me. But like in a weird way, but in a good way. The way Michael looks at Legos I guess.

"I'm gonna repost this! What should the caption be?"

"Um #blessed I get to be with all of these hot guys for the next year!"

I looked at her. Oh Kayla.

"How about: #blessed that I get to call these guys my family for the next year?"

"Omg YES!!! That's so cute!"

"I posted it. Jeez man. I got a lot of followers since Chaz posted that picture."

"My girl is famous! Now tell me all about lunch! Which one are you gonna date? More importantly which one am I gonna date?"

"Um. You can have DeMarius...the gay one."

A knock on my door startled me as I looked at Kayla. I shrugged my shoulder at her as I got up from my bed. I opened the door to see Ben and Josh, "Hey Allie, me and Ben were gonna head down to the park to walk a little bit. You wanna join?"

I look at Kayla and see her nodding head through my phone screen. I smile.

"Sure. Let me put some shoes on and I'll be right out there." I said.

I closed the door gently,"wow, Allie, go get your self a man while I'm stuck working for an entire summer! Go live your dreams, man. Whatever." I laughed at her and told her I loved her before ending it.

I started to get ready and smiled to myself. This is going to be a pretty awesome year.
