"LET'S GO!" My mom hollered from downstairs.
I slung my back pack over my shoulder as I saw our Uber arrive from my window. I turned to go, but stopped in front of the mirror. Today was not only my last day of high school but my last day of living at home for a year. I-
"THE UBER IS HERE!" My mom yelled again interrupting my thoughts.
I took one last glance and dashed downstairs. As I arrived at the bottom floor my mom stood up grabbing her suitcases' handle in her hand. "We've been waiting, Allison!"
"Oooohhh Allie got full-naammed!" My little brother, Michael, teased. I stuck my tongue out at him playfully and grabbed the rest of my things.
"I call shot gun!" My brother yelled from behind me. I took off running arriving at the door first claiming my victory. We climbed in and buckled our seat belts. I stared out the window at my home. I had grown up there my entire life and now was leaving it for a whole year. But I was more than happy to join my brother on tour. I knew this would be an amazing experience.
