Toursies Adventure

Chapter 5

We started off for subway first having to get out of Disney Land. We walked in pairs. Chaz with DeMarius, Sky with Ben, and me with Josh. As we neared the exit the semi-awkward silence between Josh & I came to a pause.

"So where are you guys from?" He asked.

"New Jersey. Well I'm from Virginia, but we moved to New Jersey when my parents got divorced."

"That's cool." He nodded awkwardly.

"So are you into musical theatre? Or is it just your brother?"

"No I love musical theatre. I'm not much of an actor, but i still like show tunes.

"Oh that's cool. What's your favorite show?" He asked, "besides the obvious choice of Newsies." He smiled.

"Um probably Bonnie and Clyde. I'm a sucker for Jeremy Jordan. Which I guess goes well with Newsies."

"I love him too." He said.

We all came to a halt when we finally got off of the Disney land area. We were on a sidewalk and it took me a minute to realize Chaz was getting ahold of an Uber.

We stood around waiting for it to come.

"Ugh I'm so hungry." Ben complained.

"We all are, Benji." Josh responded.

We all waited impatiently. The Uber finally came and we all climbed in. Ben, Me, and Josh sat in the back. Sky and DeMarius at in the middle. And then Chaz sat shotgun. The driver started off.

"So are you guys staying at Disney Land this week?" He asked.

"Um no actually," Chaz answered," well kind of. We're a part of the cast of Newsies the musical. We're performing at the Walt Theatre for a month."

"Oh wow. So I have a couple of celebrities here."

We all laughed as he drove us to an outdoor mall. Not only was there subway, but several other food places. We all decided to split up an get our food and then meet up in the court area. DeMarius & Sky headed to Chick-Fil-A, Chaz to Burger King, Josh to Chipotle, and me & Ben to Subway. Alrighty then.
